I like this very much. This would be the way I would do this as well. And then let Picarella see if he can make any hay.

That might be true, but it definitely looks like Lane wanted Sorsby first.
There’s a few quarterbacks I’ll be fine with. Leavitt is definitely one of them. If we don’t get him, there’s still a couple more out there. I really don’t understand why everyone’s freaking out. Texas Tech has a $40 million NIL budget. These are reality situations.

There are still several that are out there I would be happy with. Something else may pop up completely out of left field.

you have to wonder where Leavitt is in his recovery. if he can throw in practice that’s a big deal.
he may not be ready for full contact but just being here with the playbook is a huge plus for a guy who already has a lot of game reps.

I’m fairly sure that if the coaches are ok with offering him, then us, as fans can just shut up about his injury. They have more information at their disposal than we do about this situation.
