He wouldn’t have to be to stand out in this current WR room. Watkins is a good SEC player in a slot role. Harris should be fine, but hasn’t really stood out yet. Brown has been completely MIA. Wright has looked good for the most part, but who knows how long he’s out for. It doesn’t look good there at the moment.

I know Leavitt has missed some opportunities, but this is an offense that has typically excelled in creating space and we’ve also seen several plays where we aren’t seeing anyone besides Green with any separation. The WR room definitely hasn’t lived up to the billing so far.

Darby may not be a star, but like Wright, he likely would have fit in well and had a role here as a young player. Not the end of the world, but it feels like a small miss early since it probably wouldn’t have been difficult to retain him.

Never process a Port City kid. Lane and staff an idiot for the move.
