I LOVE it. It’s how it should be. It’s capitalism at its finest. Highest bidder gets the worm!!!!

That should be for PROFESSIONAL sports only. For the most part, I don't agree with NIL.

How about you come play for us, we use your talent, & we use your image. In return, you get a FREE scholarship, free books, free meals, free housing, free medical insurance, free tutoring, and much more..... for 4 years.

That's so pathetic. This is literally the first transfer that has really annoyed me because Ole Miss has a great offensive system and is lined up for a special and maybe historical season. And he bails on that? Wtf?

Why?

He knows he's a key player on a program that is obviously looking to go "all in" next year. As a part of that mindset, he's watching boosters throw around big money to transfers from other schools to come in. So he's probably thinking "WTF? I've been here and been one of the best RBs for 2 years. You're giving other guys who haven't played a down for this program big money. Where's mine?"

He also plays a position that is devalued and has limited shelf life at the next level. NFL teams are becoming more and more reluctant to give RBs a big second contract. Even the best of the RBs. So I don't blame him one bit for trying to cash in as much as he can now before his window to so closes.

And I hate to break this reality to you. The fans care FAR more about team success than the players. The players are looking out for their best interest. If that coincides with team success, great! If not, it is what it is because once that window to make money closes, it generally closes forever. An Ole Miss booster is not going to cut him 6 figure checks once he's done playing for Ole Miss.

Could just be a bluff to get more money out of OM thinking some transfers in are making more than him.

Wonder if he got bought off by someone. Seems weird that he’d leave with Ole Missing going all in for next year.

I was fine with NIL in how it was initially pitched. Paying kids for jersey sales, the use of their name and likeness in videogames, and being able to profit from signing autographs. It seemed only fair for them to share in those kind of profits.

This hired gun/highest bidder for pay for play sucks. The NCAA needs to get this and the portal under control fast or they're going to kill the game.

That is a big blow
Judkins is a very good RB but let’s not act like Kiffins offense is dependent on a RB. He will plug someone else in. RBs are not that important in the NFL and even less in college.

I'm not gonna laugh at the Rebs until I'm sure Kiff doesn't sniff around our RB room for a replacement. Hell, he can have Tre Bradford or Goodwin, but Logan Diggs would be an obvious target.

Bama shut their run game down and dominated that game. LSU couldn’t stop the run vs. Ole Miss and we saw what happened. Ole Miss offense is very dependent on an effective run game.

That’s what happens when you pay transfers more, disrupt leadership in the locker room. Aggies 2.0 will happen to Ole Miss. if you don’t have a certain culture in your locker room, you aren’t winning shite.

Here's the deal, with no source to back it up, just my observations to what has happened prior and is transpiring now. The first 2 are actually what I do know though.

1. He didn't get an NIL deal out of high school. He was a relatively low ranked 3 star recruit that not many were on. I think Bama maybe wanted him at another position, but I can't remember.

2. After last season, they actually did pay him a NIL deal. After having what could be considered damn near a Doak Walker type year, everybody and their mama knew that people were going to come after him. Ole Miss needed him badly especially since they were losing Evans to the draft.

3. After all the NIL deals that he's 100% hearing from the players coming to Ole Miss in the transfer pportal, he wants another check. Hell, they run the kid into the ground. I think he deserves it more than anybody else TBH. he didn't get a deal out of high school, perform excellent, and then receive another deal like most big time kids did.

4. Either they are refusing to pay him again, or somebody is paying him huge money to leave Ole Miss. Watch out for a big pocket spenders.

Looking for a payday. This was allegedly a big issue last year too.

He needs one. Kid was ran into the ground as a freshman and didn't get paid coming out like any other high profile guy. This time around, somebody else is likely offering stupid money that is hard to turn away, especially for a RB whose position gets talked down at the next level.

Kiffin's offense is extremely run heavy, this just isn't true. If the run gets shutdown, the whole thing goes to shite.

Might be upset with the money some of the incoming mercenaries are getting and wants his piece of the action. It is sad what college sports has come to.

Capitalism has rules in place. College football does not. It's the wild west. Only morons think current college football is capitalism.

This is in no way sensible. It has to be Auburn, but why? Freeze is a meddling assbite, we know that, but to leave the Ole Miss situation for next year is kind of odd.
