Ok? That’s capitalism. I love it. It’s supply and demand. The talent on the field these kids have is in high demand due to the money it makes the school. There is a limited supply of players who can play at that level. Whoever is willing to spend the most should get the resources. That is capitalism at its core. To hate NIL and the portal is to hate capitalism. To hate capitalism is to be a communist.

LSU’s approach to NIL will benefit the future of the program. All these schools throwing cash around will regret it. Look how it worked for the Aggies.

Which is why Heard wasn't fought for. If nobody else leaves, we will have 3 deep at OL. There was no need to pay Heard. He'd have probably been a backup next year and be gone in 2.

Settle tf down, Linda.

All I’m saying is we are buying recruits with booster money and pretending it’s something else. Why pretend? It is what it is. It’s been done under the table forever.

He plays 1 full year and is gone to NFL. He would have a hard time cracking lineup next year. Start junior year and gone. Not worth the money with the OL we have.

Neither one. Freeze is throwing around Yella Wood money.

What does it matter “what you call it” or “pretend what it is”? It’s like you are just looking for something to be upset about.

Auburn is an hour from where he grew up. T-Town is like 2. Auburn likes tampering too.

I’m really wondering what Nolan got paid since many Ole Miss peeps are saying he won’t get that type of compensation since he’s a running back.

Understandable, but isn’t Nolan is mainly upside potential right now versus a star player with proven production?

I don’t blame Judkins getting frustrated with financials if that’s the case.

OM site saying he has been an issue in the locker room and been shaking down the staff for a while. Lane cut bait. Take that with a grain of salt.

Lance Heard 2.0 Bag Chaser.

It’s simple. He understands his value as a Top Tier SEC rusher. Ole Miss doesn’t.

Would this really surprise anyone? It’s going to happen in every locker room across the country. Character evaluation is going to become even more important in the age of NIL.

That's so pathetic. This is literally the first transfer that has really annoyed me because Ole Miss has a great offensive system and is lined up for a special and maybe historical season. And he bails on that? Wtf?

Threads on SECr are saying he had really become a malcontent, dissing the OL during the bowl game, Dart having enough and asking Lane to bench his arse, etc.

I'd guess he wanted a big NIL bump and had been threatening to leave. Lane calling his bluff.

Well yes, and in his case especially, since Lane sat in his HS stadium watching him when no one else in Div I gave a hoot about recruiting him. $$$$

So they might get Heard but lose their star running back? I love it.

Remember when Lane posted himself being the only coach attending Judkins' HS game? No loyalty.

Ole Miss posters are saying Judkins mom has been leaning hard into wanting more NIL money. Ole Miss probably just had enough.

I mean, the shelf life of an NFL RB is very short, so I get the idea of getting yours now. But, sounds like he overplayed his hand.
