Would you say the same about wr since LSU signed 2 ?

Chester and Mubenga need to be religated to backups

At some point the guys have to earn playing time. Competition is a good thing. It makes guys work harder, and it helps the cream rise to the top.

If all other things are equal then sure, play the younger player. But that’s rarely the case.

Some of these guys are going to leave as RS SO and RS JR no matter what. That’s just the nature of the game nowadays. I think you can get into trouble trying to make roster decisions based on who is likely to transfer a year+ later. Just my opinion, though.
THIS pretty much sums it up. It seems obvious that CBK is wanting to have as many elite dudes ready for next year as possible. Not just OL but all over the field. We'll see...

Since he didn't comment that we're targeting more WRs, I'd say he had enough evidence of need before the bowl practices started and apparently feels good about where we are with that position group.

He was probably looking for very specific things during the bowl practices, and when he didn't see what he wanted out of some guys, in regards to how they can contribute next year specifically, he said we need to get more help there.

My whole statement is based needing more than we've already gotten. Additional targets. Because this is based on the new information from the recent statements. And to the people saying it's not new information, then why was it so widely reported as new information?

Yeah. To others points you may see a guy like mubenga or 1 of the true fr tackles depart knowing the 3 horses coming in. Especially when Kelly is talking about Thomas and curne ability to physically be ready now

Don't think its time to cancel a couple of redshirt freshmen. Mubenga improved quite a bit the last 2 games. Would like to see Chester at guard before we cancel him out.

Sounds like we missed on the last couples of years O-line hauls.

If lsu missed on the last couple OL hauls then no one in the country hit. The OL has been recruited very well and you guys are just a bunch of chicken littles that read into everything way too damn much.

Don’t know if it makes a difference but Kimo would probably switch back to O-line.

And also, go frick yourself into oblivion. You're just another in a long line of people who either refuse to read or can't understand what I've actually said in this thread.

We are so inexperienced that it seems like a good move to bring another in. Maybe the young guys come thru, maybe not. They are unproven at this level. I see it as a good move even if they feel good about the guys we already have.

Maybe there should have been a point where you just decided to sit this one out.

If not, perhaps you should reconsider.

I’d say it’s probably exactly where they were exiting the regular season.

I thought we needed 3 starters.

Damone Clark wasn’t a full time starter for a few years but he wasn’t awful. Bad take. Rotational players aren’t necessarily bad players.

Damone was bad until Blake Baker coached him.

Cushenberry was never bad though.

Again……that’s not how any of this works.
