And what’s the status of Coach Livingston and the Newman program with the LHSAA investigation?
LHSAA is going to court in November…

Any insight from anyone on his likely destination?
Feel like a lot of posters have Newman connections.
Is Randy a friend of the program or is he bitter after getting fired as an assistant?
Seems like if he was an LSU supporter that would go a long way. Former players are not always pro-alma mater.

Guess it was only a matter of time, considering how he was blowing up.

LSU will never excel again as long as he is around the program
Edwards put CTJr on the LSU Board as compensation for vote harvesting the hood during his contested race against Rispone.
The SOB should be behind bars

Lol, Randy has to be in disbelief. I guess there was truth to the rumors of players or their parents not being satisfied.

Side note. Liberty Magnet lost by 2 in OT to national team Dynamic Prep, whose only loss at the time was to Link Academy.

There was zero chance of that not happening. He has begun his professional basketball career.

He’s never not going to be around the program so that’s that

Ole father time will CERTAINLY remove his arse from around the program. And hopefully not too long from now.

God LSU fans say some of the stupidest things... I can't even begin to understand some of yall. So CT jr is the reason the program has underperformed?
Is you conspiracy theory that a 70 yr old man is steering the nonexistent big time local recruits away from LSU basketball? In fact the only brief era there was local talent he helped get them to LSU. Ya remember Tyrus, Big Baby, Bass, Tasmin, and his sons?
At least we have moved on from Dale Brown being the scapegoat.

Cenac has been blowing up lately after his huge jump in the rankings, getting offers from teams like UCONN Kentucky etc. in the past few days. However we’ve been in his recruitment since the very beginning and he’s stated relationships matter the most for him. He took an unofficial visit to both Houston and LSU back in November I believe but he talked in an article about how there’s a feeling of family here and how he’s talks to McMahon and the coaching staff often.
Our coaches also already have a good connection with the staff over at Link academy. Corey chest (LSU forward and New Orleans native) also transferred to Link Academy his senior year of high school so this isn’t anything new for our staff. I’m sure they’ll put together whatever NIL package they need to in order to make him a tiger. That’s just how I see it. One thing about this staff is they seem to put the most value in bringing in Louisiana guys so I’d be very surprised to see them miss on the biggest Louisiana recruit in a while.

I’ll save you the trouble. He won’t go to lsu.

We need to put Randy Livingston on this one.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Remember Eric gaines. Dude was a beast on defense.
I can't remember a player who dribbled the ball quicker than gaines. Just look at that speed. Always liked him at lsu.

Gaines is probably the best peremiter defender at lsu in the past decade. He denied wing passes and begged for you to back cut.
Haven’t seen cenac but believe the ratings.

Temple did have that window of a few years where he helped bring in all the backyard talent including his sons. You would think that Dale could have brought in all those local guys without having to sell his soul though.
Dale’s last few years tarnished his legacy and I’m so glad that we’re no longer catering to folks like the late George Eames & Temple, I think.
