I was hoping there would be a bunch of notable last day entries in the portal, but nothing of note.

There typically isn't.

At this point, only a handful of Top 100 transfers remain unaccounted for. Only two of the uncommitted are currently linked to LSU:
Allen Graves - Duke is a major player. However, does he want to come back home to play?
Paul McNeil - NC State seems confident that he is staying. However, Kentucky is making a big late push, and Wade and McNeil are supposed to be close. So maybe a 3-way battle b/w State, Kentucky, and LSU?
After that, LSU isn't in the running for any of the remaining Top 100. However, Wade is a great talent evaluator, and there are a few guys left that could still make a significant impact next season.
This suggests the LSU roster next season will lean on FR recruits and internationals, and will pull some current players back in from the portal.
Best Case:
High Rated FR PG
McNeil
International
Graves
Mo Dio
Plus, a solid bench puts LSU back dancing.

Dang, do yall think he has some silent commits? I mean I believe and all but I dunno if I see a wave of silents playing it close to the vest for Wade. Do yall think other schools negative recruiting of Wade may be impacting players to want to come to LSU? Im sure every coach is bad mouthing Wade and his character...

What is the full story on the (potential?) rule change giving kids a 5th year that otherwise wouldn't qualify? Is there potential in adding a player, or multiple players, through that avenue? I'm thinking of guys like Mackinnon specifically,

My question is why did the Kentucky kid publicly announce a visit and then he commit on the visit? Why would he get to announce but others can't?
I am a big CWW guy so I have faith, I just find that piece a bit odd. Hopefully we get a flood of commits soon.

I’m also wondering if 5th year players will be able to enter the portal after today? If not, then we would be limited to our own 5th year players.

Whatever happened to....
....that Aussie from down under, CMM's prized signee Owen Foxwell? Is he still coming here, or what?

Some updates:
Duke is officially out of the running for Graves (never really was close between LSU/Duke). It’s 100% either LSU or NBA next year for him
McNeil is not coming here (not good enough defensively)
Look for a decent amount of this class to be guys in their 5th year.

It does appear he favors the NBA, but Duke is not out.

As compared to the defensive skills of the other elite 3 pt shooters on the roster? 100% a take if he wants to come.

What if the NCAA doesn't change the rule? Or it is late summer, and it only applies going forward?

I can guarantee Duke is out.

Will was never really recruiting him to come here, does not like how he plays defense.

The NCAA is changing the rule, LSU will go to court if it has to to get guys grandfathered in. Will knows what he is doing

Assuming the NCAA allows a 5th year, do those 5th year players have to be in your roster already? If not, will they be allowed to enter the portal after the ruling?

My guess is they would treat them like HS SRs and allow them to sign wherever they wanted.
