Apparently Sherrell is gonna commit to Indiana with the deal being somewhere in the range of 4-5 mil per Trilly. Crazy times

That is a huge overpay.
Wade needs to just grab a bunch of top performers from mid majors.

I go back and look at Florida's rise under Golden. His first few classes weren't littered with top 20 transfers or HS recruits. Many of the transfers were in 75 - 125 ranking range. The HS players were rated much lower. Haugh was a 3* ranked 185. Condon was a 3* ranked 214. Aberdeen was a 3* ranked 187.
UF wasn't getting the highest rated guys. They were getting the RIGHT guys for what they wanted to do. It led to a National Championship in 3 years.
Outside of the McNeese transfers, much of Wade's NC State class was signed later in the portal period. Including Williams who didn't sign until May. The class was ranked 20th...and I'm not so sure Wade loved the roster makeup by the end of the season.
It is a bit disappointing LSU hasn't signed anyone as of yet. But I'll be happy to wait on the "right" guys than the immediate guys.

Was told an in conference name 2 weeks ago today. Not in portal yet. Would be an excellent pick up. We’ll see if I was fed shite or not.
