Saw an NC State baw on twitter acting like McNeil to LSU is done. No idea on his credentials, but didn't seem like the type to be fishing for engagement (shoutout Daigle and Herbert)

If I had to call my super early shot, it’s looking like our backcourt is gonna be Haggerty/Mcneil.

Over 35 PPG with some elite shooting between those two, Haggerty and McNeil would be a pretty dynamic backcourt.

If they meshed. Haggerty will be at his 5th school. He puts up great individual numbers, but it hasn't often correlated with winning. He was the 2nd leading scorer in the Big 12 last year....and K-State finished 2nd to last in the league.
It's one thing to sign big name transfers. It's another to get them to all quickly buy into playing as a team. I think there was a little bit of that issue for Wade at NC State last season. The individual pieces were probably better than the sum of the parts.

Also neither of those are necessarily great defensive players.

I'd take Larry Johnson in a heart beat. He's a highlight reel!
Dual is a tall, steady point guard. Not flashy but long. Solid defender. I'd like to have both come off the bench for LSU.

Heard elsewhere we were looking really good for Wilkinson. Or the Wilkinson/McNeil situation an "or" not a "and"

Last I’ve been hearing is that Florida was surging. I don’t think we’d bring in both Wilkinson and Haggerty. For money reasons and fit.

Even though he’s a former NBA player, assistant coach and college head coach many on here will hate the hire because Stoudamire played against a Dale Brown coached LSU team when he was at Arizona.
