I know for sure Wade is bringing their strength coach, Greg Goldin, and also his special assistant, Reed Vial. Rick Stansbury’s son Isaac is also coming over from that NC state staff. I don’t remember his title but he works with analytics.

Given the players in the portal, Wade can build a tournament team without them. Also, if you spend 1/3 of your portal budget on those two, then you aren't putting a Top 10 defensive team on the court.

Yep. From what I understand, Quadir Copeland was supposed to be their backup this past season but ended up having to take a bigger role.

I know Brandon is at UTRGV and one of the nc state guys is going with him (as is Johnny Jones’ son)

In terms of the portal window? The 21st deadline only applies to players entering the portal.
Recruiting portal players and those players committing to teams will go through the spring and summer but that window is just for players to enter the portal.
After that date, the only way for players to enter the portal is if there’s a coaching change for their team and then they’d have another 15 days. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.
