Yea, I think that's pretty wild but that's how it comes off. They literally made plans expecting that they had exhausted their eligibility, now they have another year, how can you not give them the opportunity to go wherever? Lane made similar point in a recent press conference

Yes, I seem to remember that in anticipation of potential legal battles some sort of guidance (from whom idk) was issued to to potential 6-1-to 6-1 players to enter the portal. In fact, I think Sutton and McKinnon entered the portal in the spring.

I'm a doubter, for sure. I gave him a shot and defended him many years ago. Was let down and betrayed. Most of you idiots were completely done with him when we let him go. Fast forward to 4 years of sucking arse under MM, and welcome him back with open arms, like the ex-girlfriend that cheated on you and wants you back after a few years. If we would've "hit a homerun" after he left, most would have totally forgotten about him by now. It's a classic case of desperation.
