I agree but I just never remember seeing a class with 6 CBs

We are definitely recruiting differently now. Corey Raymond was lucky to get a CB every 2 years. It was usually a a stud, but we seemed to recruit strictly on the kid being a potential star/starter and when they weren’t, it showed (see 2020-21).
BK is rebuilding the foundation of the program and is bringing in depth everywhere. CB is definitely a position of need so adding a 4 or 5* where u can is a no brainer. Especially this year.

Raymond was probably the most overrated coach in the history of this fan base. Every off-season when the "Raymond might be looking to leave" rumors would start up, there were fans advocating to give him a blank check or make him DC. It was unbelievable.
He's landed 2 blue chip corners in the last 6 cycles, and from my perspective had very little to do with landing either. Stingley was from Baton Rouge and Orgeron made him his top priority (remember him assembling the entire football ops staff to sing him happy birthday?). And Ricks came to LSU primarily because we were about to win the championship (remember, he's a groupie) and his personal relationship with Orgeron.

Dude they are absolutely insane. The amount of articles and threads about Brian Kelly is ungodly lol. If we out recruit them and if we make the playoffs in the next couple years and they don’t they will be melting like nothing we have ever seen before

Save that link because after signing day if we are ahead of Notre Dame in recruiting let’s all go tell this moron to #STTDB

BUMP
Close on Khai this week and we’re well on our way. Need to add the TCU TE too (can’t recall his name).
Any other rumblings out there about targets not included by TB?

feel like we are missing a couple but at this point doesn’t seem like there’s many options

All the notre dame beat writers who write and tweet more about Kelly than the current Notre Dame team and coaching staff
That they continue to do this tells you all you need to know. We did the same when Saban left for the Dolphins. Deep down we knew the replacement wasn’t going to be as good and the same is true at ND.

Possible? It's possible every year. But it's not probable. Not even this year. This is just a wish list that won't come close to happening. Sorry to bring some reality to the wishful thinking.

So a few of the guys on that list have already committed and most lsu has more than a 50% chance of landing. Harbor is probably the biggest ?? In that list.
I am curious why you are saying it won't come close to happening. Who do you anticipate committing elsewhere and which ones that are already committed do you see flipping?

Any chance as can flip some of the in state commits heading out of state?

I am hearing approx 26-28 high school and approx 5-6 transfers depending how well we fill the roster with the high school recruitment.

Freeman has been a good recruiter throughout his career. We’ll see if he has the ability to be a good HC. There’s rumors swirling he’s about to lose 2 of his top 3 commits.
