Elite defender. Outstanding rebounder. Tough as hell. Good teammate. Great piece and perfect for what Wade wants to do…being able to switch and guard 1-5.
I hesitate to post this but…gets a little complicated during Ramadan which last for about a month during conference play. No eating or drinking (anything) from sun up to sun down. I’m sure they’ll put a plan together to manage that.

Google AI:

During the 2026 Ramadan period (February 17 to March 19), Mouhamed Dioubate averaged 11.1 points and 5.4 rebounds per game for the Kentucky Wildcats.
The sophomore forward's performance while fasting was noted for its efficiency; he shot 57.7% from the field (30-for-52) across the 9 games played during the holy month.

During the 2025-26 basketball season, Mouhamed Dioubate averaged 9.7 points and 5.9 rebounds in the 22 games he played for Kentucky outside of the Ramadan period.

Looks like an Emmett Williams type player for WW.

Then why don’t you pony up the 5+ million it’ll take to get just one elite player ok?

He hasn’t developed a good jump shot, and he’s a poor free throw shooter. His offensive usefulness is mostly as a slasher and good offensive rebounder. Defensively he is versatile, excellent athlete, strong, good length for his height, a shutdown wing defender.
He has mot been someone who can carry a team offensively. If you watch the pelicans, he’s probably closest to a herb jones type of player.

Wahh Wahh Will Wade can't recruit
This guy is not a starter and is on his 3rd SEC school and wasn't great at either. This isn't some huge coup. He's a solid bench player.

Watching that film, he looks more talented than anyone on LSUs roster in the last 3 years

Oh no he must be a total POS.
Its the modern era. I’d rather a guy who keeps pulling offers from this level than the McMahon special (wanna see how many schools the likes of MacKinnon, Nwoko and Tamba played for ?)
You are also an enormously retarded helmet.

Good piece to the puzzle. Could end up improving offensively like Nwoko did but he is an elite defender and rebounder. That is a need no matter when he plays.

He kinda of reminds me of Tamba will a little more juice. Will be a good piece if he is a mid-roster type player

Finally signed someone, and he seems like a good one per Evanmiya. I’m a little surprised that a bunch of signings weren’t announced simultaneously, so I’m still very concerned about being able to get 8 quality players. I hope today is a huge day for for us.

Yea if he improves on offensive that would be great, definitely think he fits what Wade wants more than what Pope wants at UK.
I think he'll start for us but ideally he's the 4th or 5th scoring option on the court. I can see a 10/8 type of season from him.

He led Kentucky in BPM last season and was second in BPM two seasons ago on that Bama team that went to the Final Four. He hasn't started a lot in his career but his defense is high level enough that I have zero issue with him starting depending on what else is around him.

Nwoko played for Miami and Miss St.

He was a top 15 (SEC) player in the advanced defense and rebounding metrics. He was a top 10 offensive rebounder. Wade's best offenses at LSU were great on the offensive glass. And given Wade's Achillies heal for much of his LSU tenure was on the defensive end, anyone who is a good defender is welcomed.
So no, if you are dismissing this signing because he's not putting up huge scoring numbers then it isn't a "huge coup". But depending upon the players around him he could be one of those guys that makes a lot of winning plays during games that don't show up in the "points" collum of the box score.

Sounds like the exact type of player WW loves and we saw a lot of his first stint here
