So the same amount as Dioubate?
Posted on 4/21/26 at 9:33 am to Madking
Just going off of the Free stuff on Evan Miya, Dioubate would be the best defender by far to play at LSU since Tari Eason lol

Indeed.

I don't believe a coach was mentioned in my post, it was responding to a comment about the players. Some of you assholes are so fricking invested in throwing shite at a coach who is no longer here. Wade is the one who should be evaluated on his performance and by the same standards you applied to his predcecessor.

Steals: 1.0
Blocks: 1.0
Fouls: 2.6
TO Rate: 11.4%
Minutes/Game: 21.6
?? SHOT DISTRIBUTION

? FT Rate: 62.6 [95th]
2PT: 91-151 (60.3%) [86th]
? Rim: 73-107 (68.2%) [95th]
? Mid: 18-44 (40.9%) [46th]
3PT: 6-28 (21.4%) [1st]
? 3PR: 15.6% [18th]
?? OFFENSIVE ROLE & IMPACT
Dioubate operates as a moderate-usage interior presence at 19.5% usage with elite offensive efficiency, posting a 121.3 ORtg (95th percentile ORAPM). His 58.79% TS% reflects strong two-point conversion ability despite limitations elsewhere. The combination of high usage and exceptional efficiency marks him as a reliable offensive contributor in a complementary role.
?? SHOT PROFILE & PLAYMAKING
His shot profile shows clear strengths and weaknesses, with excellent 2P% (86th percentile) and outstanding FTR (95th percentile) offsetting poor 3P% (1st percentile) and FT% (15th percentile). Limited playmaking ability emerges through below-average assist% (29th percentile), though he maintains solid ball security with good turnover% (82nd percentile). The profile suggests an interior-focused player who gets to the line frequently but struggles with perimeter skills.
??? DEFENSIVE CONTRIBUTION
Dioubate provides elite defensive impact with a 97th percentile DRtg and strong DRAPM (-2.16, 90th percentile) indicating he significantly reduces opponent scoring. His defensive activity metrics are impressive across the board: 93rd percentile block%, 84th percentile DReb%, and 81st percentile steal%. This defensive versatility and rim protection ability represent his strongest transferable skill.
?? ADVANCED METRICS
The advanced metrics paint a picture of an elite overall contributor, headlined by top 1% RAPM (6.52) that reflects exceptional two-way impact. His 7.68 BPM and 2.67 PORPAG indicate high-level productivity, while the strong DBPM (4.43) confirms his defensive value. These metrics collectively suggest a player performing at a high-major starting level.
?? CAREER PROGRESSION
Dioubate maintained consistent offensive role and efficiency in his transfer from Alabama to Kentucky, with usage remaining stable (20.0% to 19.5%) and ORtg dropping slightly (123.2 to 121.3). However, his PORPAG improved meaningfully from 2.37 to 2.67, indicating enhanced overall productivity. The progression suggests successful adaptation to high-major competition.
?? SCHEDULE CONTEXT
Kentucky's schedule featured elite offensive opponents (120.6 ORtg, well above 116+ elite threshold) which validates his exceptional defensive metrics against top-tier competition. Conversely, they faced elite defensive competition (102.5 DRtg, below 104 elite threshold), making his strong offensive efficiency particularly impressive and validating his offensive production. Both sides of the schedule were above average, lending credibility to his two-way performance.
?? HISTORICAL COMPS
• Noah Clowney (2023, Alabama) — Similar usage and PORPAG with comparable BPM, though Dioubate shows superior efficiency; Clowney successfully transferred and was drafted in the first round
• Race Thompson (2021, Indiana) — Matching usage level and PORPAG with similar BPM, representing a multi-year high-major starter profile
• Marcus Santos-Silva (2019, VCU) — Closest efficiency and productivity match who successfully transferred from VCU to Texas Tech and became a key contributor
?? BOTTOM LINE
Dioubate profiles as an elite defensive anchor with complementary offensive skills who has proven capable of high-major impact. His combination of rim protection, rebounding, and interior scoring efficiency makes him an attractive transfer target for programs seeking defensive versatility and interior presence. The successful progression from Alabama to Kentucky, validated against elite competition, suggests he can seamlessly transition to another high-major program. His defensive metrics alone justify significant playing time, while his offensive efficiency provides valuable two-way contribution.

Yep, can't be critical of Wade under any circumstance. Somehow, that equals you are not an LSU fan, and that you want them to lose. I don't get it.
About this particular pickup, I think he is very solid for what type of player Wade wants. Definitely should not be a starter. However, he's not a guy that I would personally take for a variety of reasons. He will get after it though. He's nowhere near the Tari Eason comparison, but kind of similar to Emmitt Williams. Probably a better wing defender, and a little less of an athlete.

You have to be related. There’s no other logical explanation

Wade will be held to the standard of making the tournament 90% of the time, with some deeper runs mixed in. Think Baylor or Bama type results.
You just make sure you and the other dorks make up EVERY EXCUSE IMAGINABLE for Wade if he falls short of this. Just like you idiots did for McMahon.

Helps when you play good team defense as well. Hard to stand out as a good defender when the team is bad. Guys like Collins and others on last years team could’ve been really good players within a competent system.

Between the highlight reel and reading that AI scouting report; Dioubate seems perfect for Wade's STEETBALL! sets.
Can't shoot, but finishes at the rim. Potential to be an elite defender and comfortable in space. Not explosive but good hands and touch around the rim; physical and finishes through contact.

I always support LSU and whomever is their coach unlike some of you on this board. I thought Wade did a great job in his first stint and was fricked over by the NCAA while allowing so many recruiting violations by the exalted blue blood programs and coaches ( K, Cal, Roy, Pitino, Pearl). I have posted this on numerous occasions and also made the point that to this date Wade has not been convicted of a single violation as LSU coach. I am hopeful he will be even more successful in his second tenure and a national championship banner can finally be hoisted to the ceiling.

What the frick are you talking about. I never said the playe rwas not a good pickup, but to claim he is better than any player over the past five years is ridiculous. I hope he proves to be just that. If so he needs to match K J Williams, Cam Carter, Jordan Wright, Will Baker, Max Mclinnon, Mike Nwoko, Damion Collins, Jalen Reed , Marquel Sutton.
