Surely he's one of those "roster filler" guys that we're not paying. He's very bad.

Santos' game couldn't be more different.

I wasn't saying they were similar. I think that's pretty obvious.

One of the lsu writers posted that this could be a replacement for santos' spot.

II found those highlights to be really underwhelming. No athleticism or any discernable skill.

He played in a lower-level pro league, and it sounds like he was the equivalent of "pro" walk on.

He looks to be better than his stats indicate. Long arms, get rebounds, block a few shots, etc….

So you can tell he’s very bad from highlight tape from 4 years ago? I guess we should get Will to get all of your evals and insight going forward because he and his staff clearly don’t know what they are seeing, in person.

He is very bad. That’s my opinion. Footwork is awful, non athletic, also playing a mere 5min a game in a very non competitive pro league that Ron Zipper played in prior to coming to LSU, averaged 14ppg btw. How did he turn out? Olivier Rioux is Wilt Chamberlain compared to this kid, he is literally one of the roster fillers that Wade talked about early on that won’t play. If he does play, he’s going to get smoked. If he’s not dominating in a league that might be a top 20 league in the world, he’s not going to be an SEC caliber contributor. Wade has got commitments from some very very good international players, this isn’t one of them.

So you have seen him play in the last 4 years? All I am saying is he might not be the same player he was 4 years ago. I have no idea. But I know who does have an idea. What would be the point of signing a bench player that is as horrible as you seem to think he is? Hell they could just set a trash can out there to practice against.

"“One thing that we did last year that I made a mistake on was, we basically paid 11 guys when we went out and got 11 guys and had a lot of depth,” Wade said. “And depth’s really important for practice. It’s not as important for games when you’re only playing seven or eight guys, nine max. And so, we had some dead money on the roster which so one thing I’m focusing on here. We’re really going to pay seven or eight guys at LSU this year, and we’ll fill out the back half of the roster with some with some guys who could help us in a pinch.”" -Will Wade

So you think THIS is a guy in the 7-9 man rotation? Cool. I disagree. If he is in the rotation, we are in trouble. As stated before, he averaged 1min per game in the Isareli League last season, but you're right, maybe he's a diamond in the rough that will turn out to be the next Aday Mara
