Anyone familiar with how the two compare running the ball?

Trevor is 1st team all-state 3A outta Jennings.

Trevor is shorter but stockier. Different body builds but not far apart from running styles. Trevor is fast and very explosive.

as HS Sophs, Trevor is better and more advanced than Travis was. He’s currently built like CEH or Maurice Jones-Drew and runs physical. Travis was faster yet Trevor still has 2 more years grow and increase his speed. I saw Travis play several times in HS. Seemed like on any play, he could “take it to the house” I haven’t seen the runaway speed from Trevor yet.

You must have watch 0 of his games. He is nowhere near the fastest guy on the field. Travis was the fastest guy on the field every game.

Trevor is not in any kind of shape like travis. Trevor needs to get a better work ethic. If you want to be the best, you have to continue to improve. I don't see it in this kid.

See both play in HS, admittedly Travis more then Trevor. Absolutely no comparison, Travis had next level speed Trevor was to even the best RB in that area. LSU needs to be Zeroing in on Citizen from LCCP.

Trevor will get offers early but it will be because of his last name and fear of the SEC schools missing out again. I wish the young man well and would love to see him in Lake Charles, he would be a stud at McNeese. I just don't see the quick twitch his brother had.

He is a hybrid player. Half QB half RB. Does have transvestite qualities but only about half s much as Trevor Lawrence.

His looked more like CEH than his brother with some of those quick cuts he was making. Kid has talent!

It is a joke. Trevor lawrence + Etienne = Trevor Etienne.

I would say he’s a better looking overall back in high school than Travis, but it’s hard to argue against what Travis has done at Clemson.

This is absolutely ridiculous and nobody in Jennings would agree with this statement. The head coach and every single person in Jennings will tell you that Trevor is nowhere near Travis’ talent so far based on what we’ve seen from Trevor. Doesn’t mean Trevor can’t improve in the next 2 years.

Agree with Spidy... After watching Travis for 4 and now Trevor for 2 years, they are similar, but he is not his brother. we are talking two different type of runners , but Trevor is more stout, and not breakaway fast. Hope he gets better as he matures with repetition.

He has a pretty good burst for a sophomore and has great hands out of the backfield from what I see on film. I think he's definitely SEC material. Comparing him to Travis is kinda harsh. There aren't many RBs in the nation that have that talent level. We're talking elite college running back.

I hate when guys do this.

It’s so obvious when you have refs running 4.4’s and still getting beat by the players around them.

I’m seeing it more and more in highlight vids.

Well given how Travis has yet to give up his “LSU snubbed me now I hate them forever” shtick, I doubt Trevor considers LSU either.
