Vol I’ve started hearing smoke from UT and A&M JoJo is looking at opening things back up. With how quickly he jumped on board I’m not buying it but would like to know if you have hears anything

Not intending to reply to any one poster, but to all that say SMU can rise up and compete for any one or few recruits they want...and this is no knock on Byrd...but if that's the case, why would they shoot their wad on an OT? Why not a QB, RB, or DL that can better raise up the program? It's unlikely if not rare that an OT can do that. Bang for the buck, so to speak.

I've not heard that, but I've felt from the start it was going to be hard to keep all these top WRs in the same class together. If we were to lose one he would be the one that makes the most sense. Again though, I've not heard anything other than he was solid

They're getting one of the better QBs in the country in Preston Stone. But ultimately they need to perfect storm. A kid that is interested AND has his hand out. Most kids with their hand out simply aren't even interested with someone like SMU.
