I think the scenario you’re referring to is being a Georgia fan....so no.
Don’t remember if there was a thread on this recently. Most of the news on here has been kind of gloomy recently.
Last year it was Arik who committed to us when everyone thought it was Bama or Georgia; who do you think will be our surprise commit this cycle?
Owen Prentice just dropped a top 3 with us, Stanford, and Washington. Back up option in case or take?
Greg Penn III is announcing July 12, supposedly we have a pretty decent shot against Maryland.
He called us ‘LBU’ so that’s a good sign.

Looking at film it looks like he plays with a bit of a mean streak.
He’s actually one of the guys I feel we could pull from enemy territory. If there’s any position group that we can pull elite talent from, it’s the secondary
4* OG Jaeden Roberts is committing on Wednesday. Heard a little bit of chatter about him before. Any idea if he commits to us possibly?

QB at North Shore high school that is supposedly committing today. #6 dual threat in the country.

Saw this morning he dropped a top 3 of: Virginia Tech, Texas A&M, and LSU.
Crystal Ball 94% to Auburn.

Is there any chance with him or is he just putting LSU in for looks? Obviously we’re still going after Caleb Williams, just didn’t know if he was a spot filler until Caleb commits.

Just seeing all of these kids that nobody expected to see commit to us/have us in their top 5 means there will be lots of surprises in the future
Based on the last three commitments it seems the staff can pull who they want.
These replies are getting really lengthy...
But I guess when you have nothing to do you can read all of it..
When you win you tend to attract top level talent to campus more often..
Sounds like the picks are Clemson heavy...hoping a win can change the mindset of the kids for next year.
Lol, recruiting makes no sense. People say it’s ‘fluid’ and things change all the time, but essentially it’s just a large cluster**** with a lot of money involved. See you all in February.
Not gonna lie, I thought he was shorter and chunkier from the few pictures I saw of him, but his film is impressive.

Doubt he’d think about going to Georgia after tonight with that offense...

I agree with you for the most part about long term dominance, but just ask our *5 running back that flipped to us from UGA after the beat down we put on them during the season.

Despite who he chooses (obviously we all want it to be LSU), recruiting is moving in the right direction. Just having a player of his caliber from Ohio coming on an official visit and the fact most people are saying it’s an OSU and LSU race shows that what the program is doing is working.
