Another former 5 star Bama LB enters the portal

LB Ale Kaho enters the transfer portal.

Maybe one day these kids will understand that someone is going to have to be the back ups when they sign so many highly ranked players.
Kaho had a better career than Ben Davis, and was a good special teams player. Could start at probably most schools.

The ring is nice, but playing and furthering your career should be higher on the priority list.
These kids are blinded during the recruiting process. Fed everything under sun, and think signing with Bama alone will propel their career.

Well, worst case for Bama here is they lost some LB depth since Kaho, Harris and Davis are all transferring. However, none of these guys basically ever played on defense for them, so truly 3rd stringer types they are losing. These are the guys you expect to lose in the portal over time really.

Meh. They are going to the best program in the nation right now 
to see if they can cut it. If they can make the starting line up then they feel that validates their ability. If not, they just transfer to another program and start immediately.
I hate to say it, but Alabama's success has essentially allowed them to hold "de facto" tryout periods for 5 star recruits. They aren't overly concerned about losing the ones who aren't good enough because they are bringing in a new batch of top recruits every year to fill the void.

He's the guy that left Washington U bc he was homesick and ended up at Bama even though home was Nevada. 
Bama, Saban and Lupoi sure weren't involved in tampering.

So Bama is doing their normal loophole of kids ‘transferring’, somehow freeing up their scholarship to be given to one of their ‘25’?

And people still get mad about transfers when in truth this is all kids are doing. Better to figure out if you fit or not early and move on when you don't then "stick it out" to possible never do anything but play special teams and garbage time.

2 linebackers from Auburn high school both waited 3 years to start. Both 5 stars and the no.1 and no.2 linebackers in the country.
Rashan Evans and Reuben Foster.
Saying that, they're both from Alabama. Kids like DaShawn Hand who barely got on the field his senior year and was the no.1 recruit overall at one time is crazy.
