And can play really good defense

Based on everything I've seen/read, I don't think Bashir plays really good defense

He’s a perimeter marksman and at 6’7” has good height for that spot. Good add.

He’s not a good defender at all but he is an upgrade defensively over PJ Carter

This is the kid Kansas wanted badly but I’m sure the usual suspects will be along shortly to piss on the commitment.

I pretty sure The pirate king had a ban bet with multiple people when the NOA came out that Wade would never coach another game at LSU. Man the season cannot come fast enough.

Think about how odd things are with LSU basketball right now.

The current coaching staff has TWO former LSU head coaches on it who were previously fired by LSU, and the radio analysts is also a fired LSU head coach. With all of the news continuously coming out I feel like at any point and announcement will come across that Trent Johnson has been named "Head Sweater Vest Coordinator"

Im sure this will have the nc state guys all up in their feelings today lol I swear they post on everything crying

They’ll just add a number after each commit… “HAHAHA LSU only has 1 player!”

“HAHAHA LSU only has 2 players!”

In a month it’ll be, “HAHAHA LSU only has 13 players!”

The one I love is the take that WW has to go international because the American players won’t play for him now. We see how that worked with Kiffin. It’s the $$$, dumbasses.

Give me snipers all day and teach them to defend.

I'm not sure spiking the ball before he's played a single minute is the right choice. We had several "shooters" on the team last season that couldn't get on the court because they couldn't play defense. I don't know anything about this kid, but we'll see if it translates to the SEC.

Carter is a very low standard for defense. He was by far the worst defender for LSU. That's why he didn't play much. Abdi did improve his defense last year, so hopefully that trend continues, otherwise he will be coming off of the bench for short stints.

You should like quit the board and show those fools you won’t stand for their rudeness. Just don’t grace them with your totally awesome and never wrong opinions, that will show everyone

I am 100% sure that spiking the ball is the right choice.

Re: “shooters who never played”: It is heresy to compare a Will Wade recruit to a Matt McMahon recruit.

This kid may easily be the best guard we’ve had in the last two years. He would probably see significant PT anywhere in the league.
