Think about how odd things are with LSU basketball right now. The current coaching staff has TWO former LSU head coaches on it who were previously fired by LSU, and the radio analysts is also a fired LSU head coach.

From anyone’s point of view it’s pretty surreal and wild to think. But I dig it, it’s one of those “only at LSU” could this happen. Also one of the random tangible things if I was explaining the basketball program to someone that knows nothing about it and what to me sets it apart. For a football and baseball school, where at past times men’s basketball has been even down to 4th or 5th in interest level. Yet the history is pretty wild and cool. Would put Wade’s staff in the Top-10 of college basketball right now. But when the program has had even a small amount of momentum, I think there is something about LSU where certain players wind up flourishing whereas if they went to “Blue-bloods” I don’t think they would. Certain level of freedom here.

"LSU doesn't have any players what a fricking joke"

LSU gets players

"No not those players"

Those dudes are constantly reinventing their argument. It’s the exact same posters and is the only consistent thing they do. It’s not even simply moving the goalposts any longer.

Probably need to watch {admittedly} highlights before commenting. 1) he had a great block in one sequence, stole the ball in a couple more, etc 2) he can create his own shot which LSU has had trouble with for years 3) many of his 3's are well behind the line (NBA 3's). I'm not sure using a football metaphor of "spiking the ball" without even watching the long video of him serves you well. And this guy wasn't on the LSU team last season. One of the worst arguments EVER made is trying to compare one guy against players that LSU had last season...100% irrelevant!
