I don't think we've ever gotten a player from Northwest HS.
It's been around since I think the early to mid 90s. Karl Dunbar and probably a few other players came from Plaisance HS, which was eventually consolidated into Northwest when St Landry Parish did a big round of consolidations that created Northwest, North Central, and Beau Chene.

They consolidated plasaince and lawtell around 93. I remember playing basketball there and it was a brand new school.

He’s the prototypical CR cb though.

The talking heads have been saying for a while that CR was very high on this kid. Ruffino and Nagy of 247 also said to watch for Greedy James (Texas commit) and Brandon Sherrard out of Shadow Creek. Sherrard has a visit lined up for June 12. He just came off visits to Texas and Penn St.
