Well I am trying to find where to go to get goats processed. I don't have any to be processed yet, but one day I will.

Where are you located? Is a local meat market an option?

I'm sure somewhere like Bourgeois' in Thibodaux could handle a goat for you.

They're small, have you thought about doing it yourself?

Reminds me of the Jerry Clower story about the Ledbetters stopping a “hundred car banana train” to see if they wanted to buy a possum. “We ain’t caught him yet, we just wanted to see if you wanted one.”

Good luck. The processor we use for our cattle is two years out and he quit processing game (deer/hogs) as the beef needs were high.

We started buying the equipment to do it ourselves two years ago when COVID started hitting these guys fairly hard.

Preferably in your front yard for all the neighbors to see. A small hibachi grill to cook strips while you work on the goat.

Wonder what the Homeowner's Association will think.

I’m assuming OP means to sell right? So it’s going to have to be someone licensed to do that I’d assume. He probably needs to be more specific.

Yes, that’s true. If he intends to sell them he will need the carcasses stamped by the inspector. They do that a Rouchers, as I’m sure any slaughterhouse does.
