I was recently sent a notice of renewal for $2000. Presumably, this covers retreatment for ten years. Additionally, I must pay $145 annually for two visits to inspect the property.

I got another quote for $1400 initial treatment but the annual charge is $425.

I have no idea what is reasonable and I am not interested in DIY for this. My house is 450 linear feet. What are you guys paying?

I just got a similar notice and quote for renewal. They last treated it in the beginning of 2018. Weird timing on their retreatment schedule. I thought it would either be 5 or 10 years.

House we own had the sentricon system already preinstalled.

That being said we had been paying about 400 bucks annually until this year they just raised it to 450. This is for 2x a year inspection/service and the repair bond.

Sentricon system on our property. Consists of main dwelling, separate apt/mother-in-law suite with 3 car garage and separate outdoor (enclosed building) kitchen. $450 annually for inspection and changing out bait stations if they find activity.

The home we bought in 2021, the sellers put a Terminix Sentricon contract on the property, I received the renewal notice about a year after which was about $450. I put it away and completely forgot about it up until last year. I had another company out for a quote which was $1200 first year and stated $270 renewal. Same product.

We had an annual service with one of the big companies. Terminix.

They didn't check/inspect the traps very well. I think they just faked most inspections. I pulled up traps and found activity they didn't catch.

Changed to a local company.

i just got a notice i need to renew yesterday, poured my slab in april 2019 so they comin get that 5 year retreat i assume. didn't even have the price listed in the email, just that i had to call them. termite treatment is about as shady as homeowners insurance.

eta: beasley treated in in 2019 for $637 (~4500SF), J&J bought them out so that's who i'm dealing with now.

Call J&J if you’re in the area.

Price alone is not the issue.
See what kind of guarantee (if any) or limitations of liability are in your contract. Often, the contracts limit the contractor's liability to the amount you paid them, even if termites render your building worthless.

Is Sentricon available to purchase outside of an exterminating company?

I really don't trust fleabay or amazon to purchase the legit stuff.

I have Terminax coming out to give an estimate, 2000 square foot home.

I am getting a couple other quotes from some local companies(Ouachita parish).
