We did the ekopel kit on amazon. I think it was about $150. Just take your time and follow the instructions and it turns out great. We did a free standing cast iron tub and a built-in tub/shower. I rushed the tub/shower, so there are some boo-boos. But overall looks better than the 1950s pink.

It looked like some very recent interior renovations at the house, maybe sprucing it up for the savior to sweeten the pot.

If going with sheetrock, put a J-mold trim at the intersection and float the sheetrock up to the trim. Then caulk the joint prior to painting the sheetrock.

Wood trim may be better, depending on the end look you want.

re: 3 year old potty training issues

We have an almost identical story. Our son was always constipated and had to do a miralax cleanse every weekend. When we started pushing potty training, he would wet himself every 20 minutes if not more frequently. He go to the point where he would refuse to go pee on the toilet until he saw his best friend move up to the next class at daycare, because he was potty trained. Over the next week, he mastered it and moved up after another week. Crazy how quickly things changed for him when he missed his buddy.
I swear, we get these same headlines every other year. Woman isn't going anywhere.
Looks like you also found a cap in your drain line in the process of the lower drywall removal. Not sure if that's a good thing to have concealed in the wall? But I am not a plumber
I just go buy a new strand of the mini lights from Hobby Lobby when one goes out. They're only $5 and typically will last a few years if I'm careful putting them away after the season.
Weird 2.5 year old bump, but it's clearly not progressed any in that timeframe other than them erecting a sign before the election.
Lionel Bailey is a premier architect in BR, so of course you'll be paying premium.

If you have a million $$ home, then yes you'll be paying premium to design this addition. If you have a $200k home, then you can expect a much cheaper fee but also won't be employing a premier architect as they likely won't want to touch the job.

As DellTronJon stated, for an architect you'll be looking anywhere from 4-10% of the total construction cost depending on your scope of work.
Word is the track was supposed to move where the new arena is proposed at the golf course but got killed when LSU realized the quality of that real estate and cost that it would take to move the track
Been there, done that. Enjoy the slow crutch walk up the stadium to your seat...

The extra steep stairs make for more fun and lots of laughs when you stumble every few!

Interesting. I've never watered these trees, only fertilize them once in the spring.

Only water they get is rain water, and we haven't gotten much rain in EBR in the last few weeks.

Well I spoke too soon. Noticed yesterday that half of the fruits are splitting.

Is this a drought thing?
Doesn't make it any better quality. I'll skip lunch if subway is my only option

Culvert Install

Has anyone had a culvert installed to cover a ditch? I have a steep ditch that is very difficult to keep maintained. I'm considering having it culverted and covered to level the yard better at the road. Half of the houses down my street are like this while the other half are like mine.

About 100 linear feet in length. Would I need a yard drain at the mid point?

mine are loaded with fruits right now. Hoping the squirrels don't tear into them before November

This is bare minimum it takes to be considered middle class from a personal income perspective; not total household income. It's likely that the household income threshold is likely 20%-40% higher.

The first sentence of the article literally states that those are household numbers.

Achieving middle class in the Capital Region takes a household income of $64,222-the most of any metro area in Louisiana.

I have the same problem right now. Put down a fungicide last weekend and it seems to have fertilized them...

How can I get rid of them? I do have a tree stump in the area that had been ground a couple years ago, so I'm sure the roots are nice and rotted at this point.
