Speed Queen TR7006 Washer and Dryer

My wife and I are buying a house, but the space for a washer and dryer is too small for our Speed Queen washer and dryer, so we are going to have to sell them. Any recommendations from the board on where to sell them? They are only 3 years old and come from a house with no pets or children. I’m worried that I’ll get lowballed on Facebook Marketplace.

You'll get lowballed anywhere and won't get what you want.
FB market is likely the best place. Seek out appliance repair groups and advertise there. We asked the cult of Speed Queen in those groups.

Used appliances are like used furniture. You'll never get what they're worth, but you'll get something.
The main issue is the dryer. Most people don't want to pay a premium for a dryer. Even if it's a Speed Queen. I'd say, you might ask $1000 for both and see what you get.

Would you trade for a used trampoline?

If you lived in the vicinity of Memphis I would certainly be interested.

I own this exact set. Rock solid, highly recommended for anyone who may be on the fence.

Not trying to be a smartass, but how can a standard size washer/dryer not fit into a house somewhere with that particular need in the design?
Assuming the house was built after the 1950's. If not, then I see the problem.

I’m moving from an apartment with the space for a side by side washer and dryer to an older house with more or less a closet for laundry, so it will only fit a stackable washer and dryer.

Sounds like they did clothes line drying.

I'd put the Speed Queen set in storage if you don't have space in the garage.
Then, I'd expand the laundry room. Granted I don't know the floorplan, but it can't be all that difficult to add enough square footage to make a usable laundry room.

If the house has a garage that might be an option to run water to it for your washing machine and just use the "laundry room" for the dryer. Does it have 240V outlet for a dryer?

Unfortunately it doesn’t have a garage and the lot isn’t large enough to build one.

I’m in Nola and will buy it from you. Pending price obviously
