Even though you're in the wrong, should've told the guy to go get a protein shake, and when he comes back, maybe he'll have the damn place to himself. If he has anything left after the gym, you'd be more happy to meet him at Sonic

Like this thread, it appears as if you were in the wrong place.

Like I said, not possible at this gym given the layout. There is probably 5 feet of space between the row of weights and the row of benches (some adjustable, some not).
Is this a storage of benches with no space between them? Back up and stand between benches.

You were in the wrong and violating gym etiquette. Obviously, you were impeding or obstructing access to the weight rack. This is something novices/selfish ppl typically do.
You seem overly upset about what this individual said to you which seemingly is a statement of advice, not insult. I think you're upset because, deep down, you know you shouldn't have been standing there and this individual made you feel embarrassed.

yes. if you are too weak to walk a few feet with the weights you shouldn't be picking them up. You're making people wait because you are too lazy to move. this is the same as parking at a gas pump and making other people wait. dick move.

You're in the wrong. Get your weights and get out of the fricking way

If you were standing in front of the rack of barbells so others could not get to them, then yes you are a dildo.

If you're too lazy to step back a few feet I don't know why you're even at a gym.

A: You don't have to lug them back and forth each set. Bring them to wherever you're curling, knock out your 3 supersets or whatever you're doing, then bring them back once you're done with them. Nothing wrong with keeping the dumbbells to yourself while you're doing your sets (unless you are taking 20 minutes to knock it out)
B: If it's that much of a task for you to pick them up and put them down 3 separate times, or if it's too heavy for you to carry 20 ft across the gym, you're probably using too much weight.

Well if he is only doing 60s then it isn’t difficult to move.

I think you’re ready for a home gym.

Be a boss. Wait for him to do his bench exercise and piss on him.

You really have issues with parking.

He'd hate me. I start at 100 and work my way down to 20s going for failure at each weight.
But if someone asked, I'd move.

I do one set then go do another exercise elsewhere then come back to do another set.
it's fine to do that, but you're immediately in the wrong if you're interfering with other people by doing sets on different stations and taking up space or blocking access to something else.
i.e. it's fine. i don't judge it, but the second your station hopping interferes with somebody else, you're the dick.

This, pretty much, tells me everything I need to know about you.

If you were blocking other weights for this bullshite, you were definitely in the wrong.
