Been working hard to bring lunch daily to portion control and calorie count but sometimes I forget lunch at home.

What something reasonably easy I can prep in the office kitchen (only microwave and fridge) instead of running back across town to get my lunch?

Carb balance wrap some turkey and some mustard. Lettuce and tomatoes if you’d like. Put a lot of turkey on there and you’ll get very full.

A shitload of sliced turkey/chicken from the deli and a piece of fruit.

If you want to add some greens, 2 baby food pouch blends with greens & fruit.

I have been loving the rotisserie chickens from Wal Mart.

But I'm also interested in more recipes for quick meal preps.

If you lift heavy then eat a rotisserie chicken with your hands you feel like a caveman. I love it.

When I shred it into my Tupperware, I do feel like a caveman just tearing meat from the bones with bare hands

Another vote for rotesserie chicken. I'll buy a pint of blueberries with it and make that my lunch for two days.

The whole wheat carb balance tortillas from Mission are excellent. Get a pack of those, a pound of sliced turkey or chicken, maybe some cheese, and keep it at work if you have a fridge. Always my backup on days when I forget or don't bring my lunch from home

I see I have a serial downvoter on my hands here. Must be vegetarian who doesn't like meat.

It's the next big fad diet. You eat like a king and the weight melts off you.

Buy 4 things:

25g protein per serving Greek yogurt
Decent protein powder
Plastic spoons
Paper bowls

That’ll give you ~50g of protein per serving.

I know this is mostly sarcasm, but there is a whisper of truth.

If you have the discipline and willpower to eat this in a pinch and be satisfied, you have the prerequisites to attain the physique you desire.

Obviously don’t do this full-time though, that’s enough sodium to raise a whale’s blood pressure.

Eh drain the chicken and rinse it. It takes most of the sodium out

You need to check the research on sodium and blood pressure from the past 30 years or so.

I can eat sardines and canned tuna all day. I got a package of canned chicken from Costco thinking it was tuna last year. Even cat wouldn’t eat it. Sent it to the kids’ school for a food drive.

Bro, who hurt you? That sounds terrible.

We have Greek yogurt at work, sometimes beef jerky. However if I forget my lunch, I get a bbq salad, no sauce
