What kind of wireless earbuds are you wearing while lifting/running?

I had some Taotronics that were awesome but my wife's dog decided to eat them. I guess they were too close to being airpods and they quit producing them. Currently using Soundpeats TrueAir2 and they are prone to falling out. Is it possible to get a pretty good pair for ~$100? I keep getting bombarded with ads for Raycon, haven't ever heard of them.

I’m on my 2nd pair of AirPods and I like them very much.

Wireless Earbuds, Bluetooth 5.3 Earbuds with 43H Playtime, IPX6 Waterproof Stereo Sound True Wireless Earbuds with Microphone, Bluetooth Headphones for Sport and Working

LINK

I legit bought these back in November and they work great. Like AirPods, but a little larger. Zero problems running or lifting in these and they sound great too.

I love my wireless Power Beats Pros but I like the over the ear type. Air pods don’t stay in my ears well

You can catch them on sale at times for 150. I’ve had mine for 2 years with no issues

Shokz Openrun. Being able to hear traffic or someone calling out was a massive upgrade for me. The sound quality isn't as good as what you get with an in-ear earbud but the tradeoff for safety is worth it imo.

Picked up a cheap pair of bone conducting headphones from Amazon. I haven’t tried using them in the gym.

I’ve had the Jaybird vistas over 2 years and have never had a problem or had them fall out running. Can be found on sale a lot now

I might be the only person left on the planet who doesn’t wear headphones to lift

I don’t. When I started PPSA I couldn’t focus with them in and I felt all out of sorts. Now I like it better.

I use some JBL ones for 50 dollars at best buy and I like them

I use them at work and when I don't forget them at work I use at the gym sometimes

Looks like they're 100 dollars at best buy now but you might be able to find a deal on them somewhere else

JBL Tune 230NC TWS is the model I bought

I don’t wear any either. My gym has piped in music.

AfterShokz here for all the same reasons.

I also don’t listen to music when I lift, the piped music is enough for me. I’ve tried running without music but still prefer to have it, particularly on longer runs.

I still have my 2nd gen AirPods that still work great — pretty amazing considering the amount of washes and general abuse they’ve been through.

When these finally go out I’ll definitely get a second pair.

I like Airpods. I'm sure the newer ones are even better.

I was having a similar issue with my Galaxy Buds Pro. Switched to some cheap no name earbuds from Amazon ($28 on 12/25/22) and no longer have that issue. The ones I picked up have silicone earhooks and are IP7 rated. Both features are now must haves for me regarding ear buds for active activities. The earhooks are extremely comfortable and have not caused any pain or discomfort when when wearing for 2+ hrs at a time. The IP7 rating allows me to throw the buds in my wife's sonic jewelry cleaner to clean the crud out of them. I do this once every week or so to prevent the buds from clogging and reducing sound. I did lose the active noise cancelling feature that more expensive buds have, so I only use 1 earbud when at the gym so I can still hear when people are talking to me.

Thanks, giving these a try since they have a $14 coupon plus free returns. Makes sense to start at the cheapest and work my way up to something I like.
