Battling IBS since starting TRT.

What are my options to combat it? Smaller doses 2-3x per week?

Anything else I can do?

i highly highly doubt you are damaging your prostate from trt, but check with your doctor and actually get an appointment with a urologist, a legit one.

Yes, it didn’t start until I began the TRT a few months ago.

The day after an injection, it’s really bad.

Never had IBS before starting it. I’ll check with the Drs to see if I have any other options.

Tend to agree. Had my annual physical with my GP yesterday and he basically said the same thing. Made an appt with a Urologist for tomorrow and my hope is that he will be receptive to the treatment and I could just go with him from now on. After we rule out any issues of course. My GP seemed to think I could go this route and have it covered by insurance, get away from Rejuveme, etc.

Man, it's probably been said but find a real doctor that isn't afraid of TRT. Save money and get more wholistic care.

how are you guys injecting the test with insulin and TB needles?

I use a 25 gauge for draw and injection. Run the vial under hot water to loosen in up. Takes less than a minute. I got really tired of switching between draw and injection needles. 25 gauge is plenty small for SQ.

This makes no sense. Did you change anything else? Start taking a supplement? Anything?

I draw up with a 18/20g. Depending on the vial amount, I usually draw up multiple syringes at a time. Then inject with a 25g. I alternate with IM and SQ.

Nope. Nothing else has changed.

I have been batting intestinal issues for the last 4 months of TRT and nothing else has been added.

I stopped by the clinic today. They mentioned the oil is grapeseed oil, so maybe an allergy to it? I’ll speak with the Dr tomorrow.

Went to see my Urologist and he looked at everything and did the ole finger exam and basically not concerned with the high PSA number for now. In even better news, he’s taking over my treatment and wrote me a script for Test and Arimidex on the spot. $33 total. As opposed to $150/mo with Rejuveme and dealing with an actual Doctor/Specialist now and not some “pill mill” type place like Rejuveme.

Is he allowing you to perform the injections or do you have to go in for each?

I did a small .3ml dose (with a plan to dose every 3 days) and I did have a little more IBS symptoms than before the dose; red currant type heavy mucus.

Looks like I could have a grapeseed allergy..

frick I wish. I’m starting this week. I’ve been stupid busy and haven’t been able to get over. I’m still looking for a urologist/endo that will help, but I need to start this week as I’m exhausted and still have shite that needs done.

The urologist I did go to had no treatment plan for lower test, extremely low estradiol (sub 10), and the fatigue/low libido. I asked him, “how am I to start a family when my libido is nearly nonexistent?” To which he never did answer. I fricking hate mainstream healthcare systems.

Seconded on the request for a lafayette dr. Hitting 40 in a month or so and looking for a progressive thinking gp especially when it comes to trt.

My coworker prescribes my TRT. We have a wellness clinic/urgent care so we monitor our labs and what not.

One 10ml vile last me 15 weeks. I do .6-.7 every Sunday. Total test is usually between 800-900

Wait you are in the medical community and you don’t know the 1/2 life of the various forms of Test?

I do. I just choose to do a weekly shot instead of twice a week. I’ve done both and noticed zero difference with cyp.

Question for 777 and others who are knowledgeable on TRT. My provider ordered 200mg of Test-C every other week. From the little bit of reading I’ve done, It seems that every other week is old school and will probably make me feel like shite with the major fluctuations. I’m thinking of starting 100mg weekly. Thoughts?

If you are using less than 200mg's a week and not a bodybuilder/strength athlete or athlete there is no reason to do multiple injections if you are using enanthate or cypionate (or any long acting anabolic or androgenic compound) in the grand scheme of things it isn't going to matter if its just being used as a therapeutic.
