I’m 43 and I think the last time I took a daily vitamin it was of the Flintstones gummy variety.

Looking to find a good daily one. Not looking to take 12 different supplements.

What do you guys use?

I personally think that taking a multivitamin is not helpful. Here’s a good article on why: LINK

Member's Mark Multi for Men

eta: my SIL is a dietician/nutritionist and said in most cases anything other than a basic multi is overkill.

They are using that article to pimp all their shitty supplements.

Hardly an unbiased source. These are the same folks that pimped an andro spray 20 years ago as superior to certain anabolics

That’s for sure what T-nation does. It doesn’t mean the info is wrong either.

That was my immediate takeaway. Maybe the underlying guidance is valid, but they just lose all their credibility with the presentation.

I’m not sold on multivitamins either way. IMO, it’s a super cheap way to check a box on some macros.

If you have a healthy diet, you do not need a muti-vitamin JohnsHopkins. If you don't have a healthy diet, start eating healthy instead. That will solve a multitude of problems in addition to getting vitamins like better digestion, sleep, etc. I sometimes take a multi-vitamin if i'm not eating well (on the road or something) or am lifting weights. Also, taking too many vitamins can harm your health WebMD. The multi-vitamin industry is mostly a scam.

You really shouldn’t take a multivitamin every day, too much vitamin A will cause liver damage. I know this firsthand, a couple years ago I stopped drinking and started taking a multivitamin every day. My liver enzymes went through the roof and my doctor made me come back three months later for a follow up blood test.

In that time I quit the multivitamins and started drinking every day, three months later my liver enzymes were totally normal.

Rainbow Light makes a good men’s multivitamin but you shouldn’t take them everyday, only on days where you ate like shite or didn’t eat much food.

Agreed

Any article that starts with “Multivitamins suck” is clearly written for some other purpose than sharing facts
