Keto Is Stupid: Here's Why You Should Shut The frick Up And Just Eat Healthy

I chose keto because I see it heavily referenced here.
But really in this context 'keto' just means 'diet'.
Don't be like a bitch-woman and feel the need to be on a trendy-termed diet.
For Christ sake, men. It's fricking embarrassing.
[Flame Voice: I'm in keetooosis]
High amount of healthy fats, eggs, quality sourced meat, plant and nut based proteins, sweet potatoes, sourdough, sprouted grains, eliminate or reduce dairy.
Enjoy some quality real chocolate. Real raw honey. Coconut butter for treats.
I mean, frick sake it's not that hard.
Adjust, read your body, manage yourself.

Wow. Someone’s panties are in a knot. I don’t do keto, but I have definitely lowered the amount of carbs I eat regularly. There is no reason to eat the amount of carbs that is suggested.

You've made several homosexual references about diet lately. I usually think it's a cheap out to when you're getting owned on the internet, but you have some sort of insecurity you're hiding behind with all the gay, dick sucking references.

Yeah! Let's let the masses have their fricking COCONUT BUTTER...they are ALWAYS clamoring for it...
You've got your finger on the pulse of America...please tell us more.

The “best” diet is whichever one you can actually follow, fit your lifestyle/goals and maintain over a long period of time.
Knocking people for following Keto just because you don’t like it is as bad as someone advocating for only following Keto.

People who just do keto because it's trendy will get their punishment when the trend dies or they fall off the wagon and weight returns.
I'm not a keto fan and do not follow it myself, but if someone else wants to do it, whatever. It isn't my life. I do what's healthy and sustainable personally.
If someone else feels differently, that's their choice. I'm not going to try to shame them, maybe just make a few jokes.

The best diet is one in which the word diet is not used.

You are spamming all the boards with your worthless posting.

I'm trying to be nice to keto fans and just have a happy, free idea exchange.
You're tempting me to go further into being less nice. We don't need to do that.

Most of these diets (keto, paleo, vegan, etc.) produce good results when people actually follow them because the first thing people eliminate is processed food and refined sugars. Which should not be in your diet. If you kick those two things its all about calories in vs out and the macro proportion is not as important unless you are seeking specific aesthetic benefits vs strictly weight loss.

Define overall health. Because I’m sure I know people who follow each of those diets and they are overall healthy....

You always say this as if it's a definitive fact. If you eat in moderation, exercise, and are at a healthy weight 99% of the time you are fine.

It might appear that way, but they might find out as they get older that that isn't necessarily true.

i'm not sure where to even start with this hormonal fit. first, just because someone started calling a low-carbohydrate, high-fat "diet" "keto" in no way makes it novel or trendy or radical. Ketones have been a part of man's body, since...man. How trendy. What a fad.
Secondly, what makes this advice profound or any easier to follow than whatever imaginary thing you are attacking like a bitch? "High amount of healthy fats, eggs, quality sourced meat, plant and nut based proteins, sweet potatoes, sourdough, sprouted grains, eliminate or reduce dairy. Enjoy some quality real chocolate. Real raw honey. Coconut butter for treats. Adjust, read your body, manage yourself."
Your advice to help people "manage" themselves is just your own list of rules and an edict to "manage yourself"? How is that helpful?
What is your scientific backing behind a focus on "plaint and nut based proteins," or reducing dairy? or raw honey? or potatoes? or sourdough? or sprouted grains? I'm not telling anyone to ban those foods (or binge on dairy), but what's your basis for saying they're somehow essential? what's the unifying principle(s)?
What goals are you addressing with your dogma? Do you care about timed feeding? How does your dietary dogma work with various health conditions, from TD2 to autoimmune disorders? How do you tweak it for various performance goals?
Who ground your gears?

vegan
there may be a subset of the population who can sort-of natural thrive on a vegan diet, but for most people, it is an extreme challenge. I don't want to get into a vegan debate, so yes, this is just like my opinion man, for today.
