Adderall had to have been created by Satan himself. That shite is pure evil and has ruined so many lives.. I’ve seen it first hand

So have I, was trying to be open minded about the possibility that it actually serves some people well and I didn't want to paint with too broad of a brush. I've never taken either, I have no need to even entertain even the thought, but I've seen lots of people experience nothing but trouble from taking Adderall mainly, and Vyvanse to a lesser degree. It seems so rare to hear from someone who has nothing but good things to say about their experience on either. and not surprisingly....most of those folks seem kinda like tweakers...functional, job holding, car payment having, home owning tweakers, but tweakers all the same. I just don't trust it.

I'm not surprised that a discussion about caffeine attracted someone asking about amphetamines as this always happens. It amuses me. I'll stand by for this discussion's inevitable turn into the finer details about Zyn and different flavors of Zyn and "Where can I get some Zyn?" ugggh, fricking Zyn

Monster isn’t the highest mg caffeine. Typically around 160mg per 16oz so you are at 320mg from the two energy drinks.

Cup of coffee is typically 80-110mg depending on the roast with lighter roasts having more caffeine. Let’s just call it 80mg for you so that’s another 160mg. That gets you to 480mg caffeine before the pre-workout.

I have no idea how much caffeine is in the pre-workout but I would guess it’s at least 200mg.

So you are around 700mg+ depending on that pre-workout. FDA recommends staying below 400mg for the average person.

6-7am 16oz coffee

12pm 200mg caff pill

6ish PM sometimes another caff pill, ill usually bust it in half though.

$3.00 90ct 200mg caff pills are my shite now.

Just got tired of spending $4+ dollars per day on Reigns and shite so now I will usually just bless myself with one on Friday drive home from work.

Might I ask - to what end?

What am I missing by ingesting 0 caffeine daily? Is it an energy thing? If people have a problem with energy, seems better to address root causes of that and not just put a drug band aid on it.

Brother if you feel good of of zero mg I see no need.

Its definitely a drug for me. Between all the soccer practices, work, travel volleyball tournaments, general daily bullshite....no matter where I am, I can get coffee in the morning and take a caffiene pill or grab a drink at a gas station, it hits and I feel fricking awesome for a little while.

I drink 3-4 cups of black coffee daily. I occasionally have a Monster but few and far between. Maybe once or twice in a months time.

Coffee in the am. Probably 2 big cups.

Half scoop Bulk pre workout.

That’s it. I’m trying to cut back because I get really tired around 2:30. I started doing a protein/banana smoothie first thing to try and level out my blood sugar. We’ll see if that works.

I cut all that stuff out. Green tea is the most caffeine I get.

I'm proud to say I have kicked my caffeine habit. Just slowly cut back until now I might have a coffee every few days.

My daily consisted of:

2 16oz coffees before work
2 16oz coffees at work, sometimes 3
1 diet coke at lunch
1 diet coke in the evening

I felt cracked out all the time. Now I drink decaf coffee in the morning and that's it.

Your fine. I used to easily drink a pot a day. Sometimes more. Now I only drink coffee in morning and cut off at noon. I would never give up coffee because it’s my favorite morning ritual.

Three cups of coffee to start the day, Diet Mountain Dew on a steady drip after that. I already gave up sugar, that’s my big lifestyle sacrifice. And honestly, caffeine barely moves the needle for me. I could pop a NoDoz and be asleep 15 minutes later for a full eight hours.

A few years ago I read a book called The Blue Zones. It details the societies in the world that live the longest and what they eat and drink. Not going to go into a big healthy foods thing here, but one thing they all have on common is they drink black coffee and red wine.

Energy drinks are poison. Dumping sugar and sugar substitutes and creamers on coffee is bad. Drink it black. It works better anyway and has health benefits.
