Chicken, veggies, sweet potatoes. Wash it all down with a big glass of whole milk. Add eggs to the meal for added protein.

My go to dinners for low carb are hamburger steak/zucchini, steak peppers/onions and broccoli slaw.

If I’m not watching my calories, anything with rice. Beef tips, taco meat, chicken, eggs. Hamburger steak with some sort of potato.

I could eat hamburger steak every day.

It’s easy. Rice, beans, meat. I do that pretty much every day

It’s really not

Almost all of our dinners are simply a grilled or roasted protein and 2 roasted veggies

Mix up the combinations

Tonight we had salmon, roasted broccoli and sweet potatoes

Last night it was sous vide backstrap, asparagus and carrots

Truth. It's a blessing to live in the country and fill your freezer with protein.

Check out Bobby Parrish aka FlavCity. His recipes all taste good and are healthy. Can be complicated to cook sometimes but worth it to me.

I eat a salad and a meat for dinner, grilled or roasted 9/10 times. Might eat a baked sweet potato with nothing but salt now and then, that's how I like it. Nothing from a box and we hardly ever fry anything.

I keep lists on the fridge of proteins, veggies, and whole grains that we like. I always have those foods on the grocery list, so for dinner I just mix and match what I'm feeling like. Veggies are roasted or steamed and meats are grilled, broiled or baked. I always make enough for dinner and 2 lunches the next day. It really takes the guesswork out of things.

For me, the hardest thing about eating clean/healthy is you basically need to stop eating out and eliminate desserts and treats. Healthy appetizers and snacks are also a bit of a chore.

Healthy home cooked entrees that are also tasty really isn't that difficult.
