Competing in a strongman show today

I’m competing today, and this will be my 6th time competing. I’m a little nervous, but I think I’m ready. I’ve been working hard for this, and I’ve gotten so much stronger since last year. I don’t expect y’all to really care. I just needed to put this out there. Got some pregame jitters.

That’s pretty awesome. If you can wear whatever you want maybe look for a one strap deal like Andre the Giant wore.

I came in 3rd! Won the Hercules Hold event with a time of 1 min 7 sec. Hit 245 on the log clean and press. Almost had 265. Hit 505 on the axle bar deadlift. Did a carry medley of 620 pound yoke run with a 225 pound sandbag. And finally a duck walk to power stairs loaded at 350 pounds. Best comp I’ve ever had.

I have a coworker that does some strongman stuff. If there is a competition in DFW, post it, I'm sure we would attend.
