Any success stories on fixing back pain - Acupuncture? Dry needling? Etc?

I have inflammation from an injury, and the pain comes & goes.
Tried chiropractor and electric/pulse therapy. It helps, but nothing permanent or long lasting. Pain still comes and goes….
Wondering if anyone on here had any success stories

Strengthening your back muscles and working on flexibility

Strengthen your arse, legs, and midline. Many injuries happen and don't get better because of a lack of complimenting muscles.

i still have to go to the chiropractor once a year or so, but i have pretty much gotten rid of it, other than that.
strengthened the shite out of my back, built really good mobility and i hang alot.

I've got a herniated L4/L5. Lift 3 times a week and yoga once or twice a week and I'm mostly pain free.

haven't had any back problems once I started incorporating them into my workouts on a weekly basis

Really depends on what and where the injury is, what caused it.
My issues were caused my a tight hip on the left side. My low back would compensate and I ended up having issues. As long as I keep up with a few stretches and certain exercises, I’m okay.
I also started training my back a lot harder. Lots of rows, pulldowns, good mornings, hip thrusts, RDL, etc. And probably the biggest mitigator of back injuries is making sure your technique is good. Even people who have lifted for a long time need work on technique sometimes.

I’ve had numerous back procedures. Get an MRI to find out specifics of your issues.

Honestly when I started focusing on my squat, the back pain almost completely went away. I started with low weight following stronglifts 5x5. Made sure I was using good form as I increased weight. I went from being very uncomfortable sitting at a desk with pain down my leg to almost no issues at all.

Core strengthening and mobility work got me straight (reformer Pilates is a good combo of both). Keeping a steady, healthy weight and not fluctuating helped as well. Tried chiro, traction, massages, dry needling, and hanging upside down. None of that made much of an impact in my case and the traction caused more inflammation.

Tried PT, massage and chiropractor to little effect. Heavy squats and deadlifts + testosterone pellets was the eventual cure. Stopped doing them, and back pain returned.

I hurt my lower back over-training squat and deadlift and under-recovering a few years ago and fixed it with lots of mobility work, back extensions, light band/barbell good mornings, hyper extension, and lunges for a few months and slowly building back the weight. I’m not versed enough to know what combination of those movements is best but strengthening my hips and posterior chain eventually worked it out. My pain was so bad I couldn’t put socks on without sitting down. I’m now hitting lifetime PRs on both without thinking about my back. Hope you find something that helps
