My curls were gonna be 5x10.

Ended up 10,10,5,5,5,5,4,4,2

Burned like a mug.

did 3/4/3 with 365. I'm certain 365x4 is a rep PR that heavy. I used ezcurl bar and did 21s first set and then 15 full curls for the last 2 sets. I actually did the curls while my wife was squatting, and she curled while I was squatting. So I didn't have to unrack 365 every set haha.

I'm about to go out and knock it out. I was headed out to the garage about 4:30 this morning, but I heard my daughter calling for me. Poor girl has been sick with a virus and this morning she started puking.

So 12 hours later it's take #2.

I'm not even messing with chin ups. I plan on subbing in BB curls there and then EZ curls on the cardio.

I plan on going 3, 3, 4 on the squats so that last set is the hardest.

***I went 97% on mine which was 275. Those felt strong. I'll need to up my numbers at halftime. I missed about 7 months with a pinched nerve in my neck. Strength is definitely coming back, but slower than I was hoping.

August 2023 I hit my squat PR st 385. Hoping I can get it back by this spring.

Yeah I COULD’VE added weight on the chin-ups but I did 5/10/10 bodyweight instead of 5x5. My arm is a little nicked and the bodyweight chins actually feel really good.

4, 3, 3 per Jose and the crew. First 4 moved really easy. Last 3 were a little harder!

Wish I could finish the whole thing. 1 more week for me and I’m done.

Some 70's Big tomorrow. I went ahead and adjusted my TR Max up to my 1 rep max on the big 3.

Looking forward to a little extra work.

I’ve had a cold or allergies all weekend. Sucks because it’s affecting my sleep pretty bad. Hope some NyQuil cold and sinus nighttime fixes me up for tomorrow.

If you haven’t run 70s Big yet, yall sbould. It’s one of my favorites along with strongville, pump city, and arm farm

Was a good workout this morning. Had a good quad pump. After squats and deadlifts, my lower back was angry at me. It was tight for about 30 minutes.

70s big done. Tough one this morning. I didn’t ever think I was going to finish those sets of 10. My quads were yelling at me.

Im looking forward to see what kind of weight everyone else used on the farmers/waiters carries. I started with 20s, went to 30s, then finished with 2 of 35s

I split up the squats and others - did the dead/chins/carries yesterday and squats today. Whole thing would have been too long for the morning.

I did 30s for the carries and that was definitely enough

It took ma solid 75 minutes I think.

My damn watch didn't start my workout when I clicked it. So I started it during the 5 set of squats and then it showed I finished at 45 minutes, but I know I warmed up and was way deep into by that point

Took me right at an hour.

I ran 5 miles this AM. My legs are total jello after that workout

Walking the pup now. Probably gonna do another walk this afternoon too. It's absolutely beautiful weather round these parts.

You did the same weight in each hand with one up and one down? The farmers carry hand seems like it would be too light

Yea I did. Unless I missed it, he didn't specify different weights. I felt like it was good enough after those deadlifts.

That’s how I read it also. I’m on the deadlifts now.

I'm not really sure when I started. I planned on starting at 4:30, but I ended up in the garage about 3:45 warming up.

I know it took over an hour. I subbed in upright rows instead of the farmer carry/waiter excercise. I don't like opening my garage door that early. My neighbor has 2 small kids and I don't want to wake them up.

I did 35s. The farmers carry kind of acts like a counterweight I guess.

Fun one today. Squats went well. On those 10 rep sets, I started feeling it aroubd the 7th rep. Deadlifts were fantastic. Extremely excited for Deadcember to see where my 1RM falls.

Those carries were interesting. I've done both before, but not at the same time. I used 55# for overhead and 80# for suitcase. I tackled the setup on the first set COMPLETELY wrong and it was almost a disaster.

What worked for me was shouldering the 55# in one hand, then picking up the 80#. Once I had both, I push-pressed the 55# up. Walked 25-30 steps, put DBs down, rest 60s, switch hands, repeat.
