One thing this does for LIV is suggests that less golf and more time for your body to heal is possibly more important than playing 4 rounds every weekend..this win ultimately helps the PGA players by forcing bigger purses for their events

Yea this does nothing for LIV. If people didn’t know brooks was good before this that’s on them. Nobody is going to start watching just because he wins another major.

I see you’ve never been to the golf board Prior to the Masters, most people were calling him washed.

You all are talking out of both sides of your mouths right now…if LIV players were sucking in the Majors…you’d be all shite talking how bad LIV Golf is. How on earth can you all think this does nothing for LIV Golf??? Every Major the LIV brand wins, the stronger it gets. It can’t be just nothing…either LIV Golf is here to stay, or it isn’t…but this win is absolutely huge for LIV. Just by judging some of your reactions to this thread says so.

There isn’t a single PGA fan who doesn’t like watching Brooks.

We don’t hate LIV.

We want these guys competing as often as possible.

It’s an exhibition tour that pays rates that probably aren’t market value. Sue me if I don’t think your average golf fan is going to seek out Liv Golf. I couldn’t give less of a shite about if they win every major.

the more golfers and golf fans will gravitate to it. You can’t claim to be the best league if the best players don’t play in your league. LIV is two years old. Give it time and we’ll revisit

Still not going to watch LIV golf. I have no clue why the good players in that league don’t do shite in the LIV tournaments but do well in majors, but I don’t care to watch talor gooch win

Or Charles bowel. Or Danny lee. Etc

This is the truth . The OGR is a joke without rating LIV . First two majors this year the league has more than held their own. PGA leadership is the problem . They were greedy way to long

Will it force LIV to have a qualifying process, cuts, and 72 hole events? You know like every other tour in the OWGR does.

Well, this isn’t technically true. There is qualifying now in LIV. Here’s link:

No one cares about Liv. Brooks was already good before Liv.

So were the other guys that went to LIV. That's why they signed the big contracts.

Cam Smith and DeChambeau finished in the top 10 as well.

Would you mind sharing how they were greedy? Genuinely curious.

Yeah, great. Further proves my point that Brooks winning won’t make anyone care about Liv anymore than they already do.

Amazing how they all of the sudden found lots of money to increase purses and now help with travel expenses and aren’t penalizing as much for not playing. The PGA commish is a major a-hole . If you’re blind to that you are not worth speaking with . I don’t love LIV but the way the tour treated players it was past due . Plus the way they went after Phil when he left I will never r respect again . All the rumors about gambling debt just to drag his name while they lift up a doped up tiger .
ETA:
Not a shot at you just the truth . The PGA tour was greedy and left players no choice . They can all cuss the LIV players but the PGA payers have already benefited significantly from the simple fact there is competition now.

Disney World has “nothing to do” with NASA.

The PGA of America & The PGA tour use to be the same organization. The definitely are just coincidentally named the same thing lol.
