Y’all aren’t comparing apples to apples I don’t think. . Did good good AVERAGE over 1 million viewers?

Or are you comparing total viewers on YouTube to average viewers in a TV rating?

Thats 2 million TOTAL views over a 5 month period.

They cannot coexist. I think the past 2 years have proved that.

Do you get alerts that someone posted about LIV? Or did you manage to get paid by them?

Yeah bc it would be impossible for LIV to adjust their schedule

What I have a hard time understanding, is why so many other golf fans are so loyal to PGA?

My issue is that the PGA made it clear what those golfers would have happen if they left the pga. Then they did it, and have done nothing but whine. They knew they’d get rich and get left out. No need to hear them whine about it.

Couple that with the TV product is awful. It’s like a rave at Golf. It’s just a subpar product regardless of who the golfers are.

People like me aren’t knighting for the pga, we just like our golfers to not be selfish assholes who alienate fans while playing golf on a shitty tour that makes bad TV

The PGA is not supposed to have anything to do with the majors. Are you implying that they're interfering with that and the OWGR?

LIV ruined professional golf from my perspective. Been watching pro golf 20+ years.

Team format golf is strange - it's an individual sport.

PGA TOUR events have terrible leaderboards and fields now. The least LIV can do is broadcast it on a traditional, respected platform instead of the CW. The CW? Really?

LIV ruined everything. Rant over.

Baw is obsessed with sucking off the 11th best QB in the league and hating on the LIV when the real problem was the way the PGA Tour was being run.

I tried watching LIV on Sunday and it’s just a shite product. The graphics on the screen are awful, the team logos look like 80’s Nintendo baseball, and the format just isn’t hitting home with me.

Just my opinion.

Dunno if they changed the format but LIV was awful to watch and felt like a low rent version of golf. I'm watching golf while listening to a dj in the background. Graphics look like some garbage network with no money.

Your sentiment is shared by many from what I read online. LIV people will tell you that’s the point, that they want to be different. I just don’t believe the golf fan has an appetite for that, but we’ll see. If I want to watch something different I’ll watch golf on YouTube, which most the time has better produced videos than a LIV broadcast.

A merger needs to happen ASAP for the good of golf, because IMO this whole thing sucks.

And their tournaments mean nothing, winning can't get them in major. But hey, congrats on the money.

Tried watching this weekend but wasn’t a fan of the production. Feels like an exhibition, too, kind of like the Match, where you can watch it for a bit but then turn it off.

Hopefully the LIV guys and PGA stars get back on the same courses soon. But in reality, majority of people probably only give a shite about the majors anyway.

Team format golf is played all the way up through college in the US. It’s really not that out of the ordinary.

LIV’s problem isn’t the team format. It’s refreshing to have an alternative to individual tourney golf. That’s one of the reasons the match play event is so popular.

LIV’s problem is the TV production. It’s borderline unwatchable.

i watched pretty much all day sunday due to there being no final round at pebble and i didnt really think it was terrible. i may be different but when i watch golf, i watch the golf. i dont care about graphics and logos and whatever else is going on. it was a pretty good leader board with some big names that eventually went into a multi hole playoff. to me i watch it as individual players. i dont care what team wins. i like watching golf on the weekends and i honestly didnt find this much different than watching a lot of the pga events that there are. i dont like the pissing match that golf has become and would side with the pga but i dont let that get in the way of me watching a sport that i like to watch. people want to find any little thing they can to get pissed off at something instead of just watching it and enjoying the actual thing they are tuning in to watch which is the actual golf.
