Not knowing where the leader hit his drive on 18 and going to commercial is a very PGA Tour thing of LIV to do.
Just saw that. Pretty bad.

Very questionable relief as well.
ETA: for all these guys.
Bryson’s pace of play is abysmal

The music in the background is so cringy

Yes, music is a bit annoying but less frequency of commercials is refreshing. Ending was somewhat interesting. Good finish by DJ. Watched primarily to see how Rahm fits in there. He didn’t have his best stuff but had a chance until the shank. Team event added some intrigue until it was a runaway at end. Overall compared experience to an average PGA event.

I think this would have been a really good week for LIV to have a tourney. This PGA Tour field is terrible, and at a course no one cares about.
The only reason people have cared about this tourney the last couple years is Rahm and Finau.

LIV strategically scheduled their events due to international travel & working around the majors. Looks like they set it up where their players can play in Asian tour events too for OWGR pts.
Half the players are playing in Oman this weekend, then they have LIV Jeddah, LIV Hong Kong, & another Asian tour event.
Back to US before the Masters
Another trip to Australia/Singapore & Saudi Open (probably)
Back to US for PGA/US Open

I guess that makes sense. Especially with being in Saudi Arabia next week. This week is just brutal for golf and thought it could be an opportunity for them.

I guess they’re really not as worried about the viewership like pride is. I think they’re still pretty confident in the PIF/PGA deal being made eventually & then everything will sort itself out.

I kind of like watching the younger guys play.
Cristobal Del Solar who shot a 57 two weeks ago, shot a 65 today on a really long course in Mexico.
