Pick one: warm up or stretch?

You’ve got 10 mins before your tee time. Would you rather a quick range session or a good stretch?
I choose stretch - I’m 35 btw

If I only have 10 minutes, I think 7 minutes of stretching and 3 minutes of putting will do me better than the range.

I'm going to go to the range with a wedge, 8 iron, and Driver.

I am a mental wreck if I don't hit the driver on the range before going to #1 to the point I will hit 3 wood no matter the length of the hole.

Swings with a weighted club

I’m 36, I’m going to blast a couple balls on the range and loosen my body that way.

Good question. If I can only do one it's the range. Bad back so I'll 100% pay for it later if I don't stretch but I hate playing without hitting a few balls.
38 and two back surgeries in.

I just need to hit like 5 balls before actually teeing off to see what my ball flight is doing that day. I generally play a slight draw but a lot of times I get a hook going so its nice to know how bad the hook/draw is before playing. I can usually make adjustments as the round goes on but it's nice to know where I'm starting out that day.

I’d probably use the ‘ole Thornton Melon pre-dive stretch, then hit a few D’s, 8i’s, PW’s on range…

I'm 64 so either one will likely hurt me.
Normally pop an Alleve or two
Slow swings with a couple of irons or an orange whip
Once loosened up, a few putts to see the speed of the greens then go

2 Advil
5 minutes of putting
2 off the first tee
Shoot 88-93
4 more Advil
Bitch to my wife about how before I knew her and we had a kid, I used to have a little game in me but now I can't hit it as far as I used to and my chipping and pitching has abandoned me.... while having no commitment to go do any stretching or practice routines.
Rinse & Repeat.
...
I thought this was how everybody did it in their late 30's?

Bro you shouldn’t need 6 Advils to play golf in your 30s
To answer OP I just need 10 swings at full speed Bryson style on the range. After that I’m loose. Stretching does nothing for me

A few partial wedges, some full wedges and then some 10 footers if time allows.

Yeah, probably need to see a doctor if that is the case.

I don’t stretch at all no matter how much time I have. I’ve got zero flexibility either way.
3 wedges. 50y,70y,90y
2, 7 irons. 1 3/4 and 1 full
One 3 or 5 wood off the deck.
2-3 drivers. Line up normal, try to hit straight and observe what my natural ball flight looks like so I’ll know what to favor on course.
Finish with 1-2 50 yard wedges.

I'd rather just chip a few and putt a few. I rarely ever hit a ball before playing.

Yeah it’s not normal, but it’s a preventative. I had a car wreck and broke my femur a few years back and it didn’t heal right, so I had to have a couple surgeries and it took like 12-14 months to get back walking right. It will bother me sometimes if I’m not proactive.

I’m old so I do a combo of dynamic stretching and just hitting a dozen balls to find the bottom today.
