I’d bet that all of the LIV players certainly find it advantageous that they don’t have to play against Scottie more than 4 times a year.

Since the 2023 Masters, the only tournament (out of 14 I believe) Rahm has beaten Scheffler in was last year’s Open.

Kind of crazy to think about.

What have Rahm, or any of the guys on LIV, done to show they can beat Scottie?

The only guy that can beat him is Det. Gillis

And he ended up losing in the long run. 72 holes not 54

Fields are so deep now that winning any tournament is an accomplishment.

There are more guys who can go low now than ever.

The depth of upper echelon golf is Tiger’s legacy. The ability to make a living playing tournament golf has grown over the last 25 years.

Players are extending their prime with careful dieting and fitness.

Yes, but only the top players, like a Rahm, can truly compete with him to win in non majors

They play against each other, we don't have to speculate. Rahm has gotten 2 chances to compete with Scotty this year and has done nothing. He gets another chance this week. Scotty this year with a solid putter is not comparable to Scotty last year.

Bryson is the only liv player to not get his dick completely punched in by Scottie this year

It's not like the LIV leader board was star studded yesterday to be frank.

Scottie can hold his own with anyone these days.

Obviously, but he is still beating guys like Rory, Xander, Morikawa, etc

Kinda like the guys moving in OWGR top 50… easier to move up when they no longer rank 20-30 guys

Bryson and Brooks are the only 2 LIV guys close to Scottie's level who can keep up with him on a weekly basis right now. Rahm should be able to do it but he seems to be in a massive slump. The other guys are just players who can have a good week now and then or are in the middle of a total career freefall.

I mean Scottie has won 5 out of 8 tournaments… nobody can keep up with that other than prime Tiger.

Now if you mean “keep up with” as in give him a challenge and finish a shot or 2 back in top 5…. Yeah Bryson & Brooks would be there. Obviously Rahm & probably should include Niemann, Burmester, Cam Smith would be included too

I’m a big fan of rahms game. Truly one of the best. But he isn’t the best golfer on LIV currently. That belongs to BD. With that being said, none of these guys are touching Scottie right now. The level Scottie is on is a couple tiers ahead of anybody else.

Rahm can't even beat those clowns on the LIV tour.

Cam is on a massive struggle street too. The guy admittedly said he stopped working hard once he took the money and he is trying to find form again

Eh, massive struggle street is a bit much. He finished 2nd outright in the previous LIV tournament and was in a playoff earlier in the year. 10th overall in LIVs standings. He admitted to relaxing after getting his money but at the Masters this year he said he felt his game was back.

He's not on Schefflers level. Nobody on LIV is. Nobody on Tour is. Maybe Rahm would have taken a win on the Tour since he's left, who knows, but it certainly wouldn't be stopping Scottie from doing anything he's doing.

I don't think Rahm has got content like Cam did, I mean he's been in the top 10 every event he's played in, it's just not easy to win, even on LIV.

I believe he is the 14th ranked LIV golfer on DataGolf

That’s pretty damn bad for him man.
