PS controller design <<<<<<<<< Xbox controller design
This. The 360 controller is much better. The ps3 controller is terrible for fps games imo plus its too small. It all depends on what the new design is and how good it is.

2 less, but it has touch capabilities on the back, so you have games that make you tap the back and it will pick up on which side. Actually a lot more comfortable times infinity than the 2 trigger design on the ps3 controller

So, you're complaining about a controller that is rumored to change into something you haven't seen yet. Sounds legit.

a lot of people have speculated that the ps4 would actually use the VITA as a controller in order to increase sales of the VITA, and hopefully push sony in the portable market..
Assuming it comes with one Vita, wouldn't that decrease sales of the Vita? If you want a second controller you'd have to pay another $200 or whatever for another Vita. Wouldn't it also significantly increase the price of the PS4? Either that or Sony would have to sell it at a huge loss.

When a game is bundled with hardware, it is still counted as a sale of said game. Certain titles are practically made to be bundled (as Playstation All Stars, Wii Sports, and every Forza are). Nothing wrong with the practice.
Also, Vita will almost certainly be able to be used as a controller, but it will not be the only controller. Sony has talked about cross functionality between console and handheld since showing early tech demos of PS2/PSP compatibility.

FK the X-Box and fk the current generation of consoles. The next generation better be more than crap FPS sequels and gimmicky motion controls.

This sucks. I've had a PS1, PS2, and PS3. That controller design is all I've ever known.

Interesting, I've always thought that the PS dual analog layout was odd. Coming from the generally awful original xbox controller design, I thought the 360 design was a big leap foward. However, I think the controller design is very low on most peoples lists for console jumping.
this is what everyone, who has both systems, also says.
i did not like the ps controller, or lay out, 1 bit.

man, I love the PS/2/3 controller because...

Good call on the tiny hands. I'm interested to see if they so change it and what the change are. Either way I have been converting to pc gaming and it feels inevitable for me.

I have big hands and I don't really care which controller I'm using, they both feel good to me. I hope Sony doesn't frick up the design.

Xbox is changing up it's controller design as well. Gotta make room for an LCD touch screen but I doubt we see them deviate too much. There is a reason that controller design has won so many awards and they won't stray from it.

If they up the size of the analog sticks then sure. As it is right now, those damn things are hard to maneuver.

People will get used to whatever controller is offered. The fact that the Nintendo 64 was so successful is proof of that.

The 2 main reasons I played Xbox of ps3 was the controller and halo.
I thought the controller for ps3 was the biggest pile of shite

Precisely why I will be switching over to PC over the summer. Console gaming is focusing on all this peripheral bullshite and now the quality of exclusives, especially on Xbox, is declining.

Doesnt matter to me. Controllers are controllers. You get used to them.
Staying with playstation.
Uncharted, God of War, inFamous, Killzone, Ratchet and Clank, LBP, etc
Sony's exclusives are so much better than Microsoft's it hurts. Halo? I can live without that.
When Mass Effect came to PS3 and Fable 3 sucked, I got rid of my Xbox.

I'll bet a thousand bucks that they are ripping off WiiU's controller. There will be a touchscreen on that new controller.
