Am I completely out of line for suggesting its still 2022 GoW Ragnarok?
I just havent seen anything that matches the texture quality that they put into kratos and his weapons.
The armor doesnt look great in this video but the weapons just look so detailed and replaying the game on my new tv with better HDR than my previous one it just looks phenomenal.
Has me wondering what other games that I may have missed can match it

Somehow the game actually looks more realistic than the live action TV show

If we are talking about photo realism; Bodycam wins easily.

AC Unity:
This is a game that needs to be played at native resolution. I first played it on a 720P Plasma TV, and it was amazing. These days, you can probably run the PC version at least at 1080p, or I believe Unity has been updated to run at 4K (or close to it) at 60 FPS on PS5/Series X.
Really, the game was too much for PS4/Xbox hardware at the time. They downgraded the visuals for every subsequent Assassin's Creed released on PS4.
Modern AC games like Valhalla, Black Flag Remake, and Shadows may be technically superior, but since Origins, they have all adopted a pseudo-stylized art style as opposed to the realistic style the franchise went for previously.

Ask me again when The Witcher 3 remaster comes out in a few weeks

Probably Cyberpunk.
I just finished RDR2 and even without mods it still looks incredible even though it came out in 2018.

Yeah it still looks great. The only thing i find annoying with it is that they botched the HDR. It makes everything too dark/grey compared to the non-hdr graphics. I just leave it turned off

AC Oddyssey and Horizon Forbidden West

Probably that Body Cam game. That's by a wide margin the best graphics I've seen. I don't have a PC, so I'll never get to play it tho.

For it's day, FF7. Hands down.
Greatest in fidelity? Whatever the newest thing is. . .Dawnwalker, probably.
Most memorably breath-taking? Far Cry 5 or Crimson Desert

Cyberpunk with max settings, HDR, and path tracing on my 5090/9800X3D rig with 32" OLED monitor. Stunning

“Can it run Crysis?” wasn’t a phrase for a few years for nothing.

Ghost of Yotei was pretty incredible with the sweeping grass fields and mountains. Breathtaking really.
