Ghost of Yotei was pretty incredible with the sweeping grass fields and mountains. Breathtaking really.
Shortly after Ghost of Tsushima came out I was visiting my parents. Well they had gone out to run a couple of errands and I stayed behind and was playing GoT. They get back home and my dad thought I was watching a live action movie. Such an incredibly beautiful game.

Alan Wake 2 is probably the most impressive looking game Ive played recently.

Yea GoT is up there was one of the prettiest games ive ever played. I will also throw in Space Marine 2 as an incredibly good looking game both graphically and art direction. Unbelievable looking sky boxes.

Not sure Id say best graphics of all time but that was a beautiful game. The shitty state at launch didnt helps its reputation but I rather enjoyed that game. once the bugs were fixed.
I think the game, especially the interiors, can look damn near photo realistic at times.

I'm a console pleb (mostly PS5 Pro these days), but my top 3 (in alphabetical order) have been:
1. Alan Wake 2
2. Death Stranding 2
3. Ghost of Yotei
I'll also say parts of Black Flag Resynced look gorgeous as well.

Ghost of Tsushima was beautiful.
The “serenity” of the atmosphere made it seem even more beautiful.
I think Expedition 33 has a beautifully crafted world. Wouldn’t call it the “most beautiful” or “best graphics”, but I find myself just admiring the scenery sometimes.

33 was an all around amazing game. Beautiful. Tremendous score. Superb acting. Crazy story.
I would have it up there near the top but I still think I liked the look of Cyberpunk maxed out more than any other game.
Although I am one of the few who completely loved it from Day 1. I thought the random exploding cars fit in with the Night City atmosphere and I rarely pissed off the cops other than accidentally running over someone and getting them miffed at me.

For me it’s still hard to beat Red Dead Redemption 2 visually, not just because of the technical detail but because the whole world feels so carefully put together. The lighting, weather, faces and little environmental details all work together instead of the game just trying to show off its graphics. I’ve also started paying more attention to presentation in other types of games, and I came across holy spin canada while browsing around; I ended up noticing how differently the games can look from one title to another, which made me realise I enjoy strong art direction just as much as raw graphical power. A game can be insanely detailed, but if the atmosphere doesn’t pull me in, I usually won’t remember it nearly as much.

Wind Waker and BotW/TotK are IMO graphically perfect and cannot be meaningfully improved with better hardware.
