These suck most of the time but they had some decent announcements today. Here’s the biggest IMO

Assassins creed: Mirage gameplay
LINK

Alan Wake 2 gameplay
LINK

Final Fantasy 16 Launch Trailer (can’t frickin wait)
LINK

Dragon’s Dogma 2 trailer
LINK

Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater trailer
LINK

Phantom Blade Zero trailer (souls mixed with ghost of tsushima)
LINK

Spider-man 2 gameplay reveal
LINK

AC looks to be getting back to its stealth roots which is a welcome change for all. Never played Alan wake but I’ve seen a lot of love on here for it. High hopes for ff16, got my pre-order last month. Never played dragons dogma but heard good things. Not a metal gear guy but understand the passionate following, maybe the biggest announcement of the day. Phantom blade zero looks cool, a souls/GOS hybrid looks like. Don’t really care about spider man but know it also gets a lot of love on here

They also had a good bit of VR game reveal if you’re into that check the ps YouTube page

Showcase was fricking terrible. PlayStation doesn’t have any competition and it shows.

Spider-Man 2, while cool, looked like it was running on PS4

FF16, Dragon's Dogma 2, and Phantom Blade Zero were the highlights for me. All looked really, really good.

Phantom Blade Zero looks wild, but I'm curious to see what the combat looks like in the release version of the game.

LOVED what I saw from Alan Wake 2, but the decision to not release a physical version is not going to sit well with a lot of folks, so I'm wondering what impact that might have on sales.

It's refreshing to see an Assassin's Creed game that looks like an Assassin's Creed game.

The recent AC games actually had stealth mechanics in it so I don't get this "return to it's roots" narrative. In fact, it gave me a bit of an Origins vibe. I think what they are going back to is a more focused story in a more contained world, which I'm all for.

I'm definitely looking forward to their feudal Japan game, but I'll take this in the meantime. Loved the trailer.

Thank you for bringing back Cayde. The only one of them that wasn't a talking mannequin.

If you're playing for the characters, you're playing the wrong game.

There were some stupidly absurd predictions like GTA VI announcement trailer, Last of Us Part III announcement, and Ghost of Tsushima 2 announcement

You need to put some respect on Zavala's name

FFXVI looks more and more amazing the more they show of it. MGS3 is one of my all time favorites, but my question with that is WHO is remaking it? I don’t know if I trust Konami to do it justice without Hideo Kojima’s involvement. Spiderman 2 and Phantom Blade 0 looked dope as well.

Riddick did a great job. Zavala is just a boring character

Ghost of Tsushima 2 announcement

This was hardly outlandish though. Game should be on a quick turnaround unless they aren't making a sequel.

There were some good games shown overall, but it definitely fell short of my admittedly high expectations.

The Marathon reveal was the first time in a LONG while one of these shows actually surprised and excited me.

Only to find out its some PVP multiple player live service garbage.

Crushing.

Forget about the games for a second. Is anyone interested in this new handheld streaming device? Looks like Playstation's version of a Switch LINK
quote:

“We will launch a dedicated device that enables you to stream any game from your PS5 console using Remote Play over Wi-Fi,” PlayStation boss Jim Ryan said during the PlayStation Showcase. “Internally known as ‘Project Q,’ it has an 8-inch HD screen and all of the buttons and features of the DualSense wireless controller.”

More specifically, it’ll have an LCD screen running games at up to 1080p and 60fps over Wi-Fi, according to a Sony press release, and will feature both the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback of the DualSense. The Q handheld is set to launch later this year, just like the PlayStation Bluetooth earbuds announced Wednesday, though Sony didn’t say exactly when or how much the new device might cost.

According to the fine print at the bottom of Sony’s presentation, games you play on the Q must be installed on a PlayStation 5 console itself — it’s apparently designed as a companion for your own PS5, not something that would play games natively like a Steam Deck or phone or even stream them from the cloud.
