I’ve started cheesing to get offers I want. Save the week before bowl games start. Go see what teams have openings, what their offensive, defensive and pipeline preferences are. Then go back, load up your save and edit your coach to match what the school is looking for.

I was at Sam Houston for 5 years, winning the conference and having a few playoff appearances with hardly any offers. Once I did this strategy I got the USC job. You still have to be winning at a good level to actually get the offers.

EA made the schools WAY too picky on who they offer.

Gotcha. I ran a couple simulations and seemed like it was random.

I’ll just take one of these jobs for now and leave in a year if better opportunities pop up now that I’m in the Big 10.

I’m at the start of my 4th season as OC at GA Southern. Been winning 10+ games a year, 2 conference championships, and lost in the natty to Oregon in year 3. Setting all kinds of offensive records running the flexbone. I turned down a few decent jobs after year 1. Turned down a selection of worse jobs in year 2. Didn’t get one single offer in year 3.

GA Southern in the mean time has lost their HC twice and they never offered the chance for me to move up and take it. Very bizarre

I went P&A and haven’t been back.

Agree with what you said. I switched too and now bad throws seem 100% on me as well. Threw far to many pics in revamped, especially across the middle.

Did Dominick McKinley make it into the game? I'm on year 2 of my LSU dynasty and just now noticed he's not on the team, nor has he been.

People think EA made it straight up impossible to get a promotion offer from your current school as an OC if the coach leaves. Even the trick I posted doesn’t work

I’m becoming increasingly frustrated with the fact that the AI QB can get throws off just as they get hit but when I try to it’s either in the dirt or straight to a LB. Also, 95% of turnovers to the AI score. I throw more pick-6s than Jarrett Lee.

I’m a few years into my dynasty and do not have an OL starter below 87 OVR and they’re all turnstiles. I’m identifying mikes and sliding the OL but the DL just blasts through every time.

The first dynasty I did (started as an OC in the MAC) it took a very long time to get a real HC job

Second one moved much quicker though, I wasn’t really doing anything differently

Exactly why i went P&A. If i throw a pick I now know that it's either because I read the coverage wrong or I fricked the throw up. I had a hard time handling missed throws or picks because of randomness.

If I start a dynasty as OC can I only call offense?

Yea but you’ll have to set it to offense only before loading in the game

You can set the sim to offense only at any point from the pause screen in dynasty, you don’t have to do it before

Just won my first playoff game in Year 4 with Coastal Carolina. I beat Texas A&M 24-22. The computer really tried to screw me though.

I was up 14-3 at half then they scored off a tipped ball in the second half and another cheap TD to get it close. Luckily they missed the 2 pt conversion.

I now play Cincinnati in the Semi-final. I love this game.

How is a tipped ball interception the cpu screwing you and not your fault? Cornerbacks got too aggressive for you and you made a mistake..simple as that. Some of you will complain about anything.

If anything the cpu hasn't cheated enough if you already have Coastal Carolina in the semi-final.

Can I just say how satisfying it is as a 39 yo man who played this religiously as a HS/college student but now have slowed down to get youngsters to rage quit by grinding them with AF/Army/Navy run game??? Love hearing the little zoomers cuss me out and call me a pussy for running the ball straight down their throats on the way to a 17-14 W

The game can feel moments of momentum and just do some crazy shite. I like it though because that does happen in real life. I’ve gotten very good at squeezing the life out of teams kinda like bama has done in the past. I’ve gotten much better at driving the field and scoring right before the half. Then scoring again on the second half kick to get up like 21 and then force them to throw which my D then picks

In my dynasty my WVU team runs for like 250-300 per game. If my D is struggling I slow down my tempo, if D is crushing I go fast.

What formations do you like to use for running?

you must not be familiar enough with the game being scripted in certain situations. especially madden.

only up by 4 in the final 2 minutes? are you on defense? you best believe that the CPU's offense will become unstoppable and the QB will become Tom Brady.

down by 4 in the final 2 minutes? you're probability of causing a turnover just increased by 75+%.

i once had 3 false starts in a row starting a drive 1st and 25 before half. and with the way the defense is in this game, i could not get the first. screwed out of at least a FG.

why did i get 3 false starts in a row AT HOME?

and that's just one example. and it's existed for decades.
