Thanks for the input. I did edit their gear, so that makes sense. I'm still loving the game. Aside from that, the only glitch that got me was having the Penn State mascot instead of Mike. It's been a while since I attended a game, but are cannons being fired in Tiger Stadium now?

Anyone has suggestions on what to do about holding penalties? I can't run a speed option without getting one and screens are 50/50. On average they have between 10-15 per game between the CPU and me. It's driving me crazy.

I play on AA and have never had a holding call on a screen or a jet sweep.

I’m on AA and I’ve been called for holding a few times, it’s almost always on the road.
Also cpu gets more penalties when playing at my stadium

i feel like to many receivers can our run corners to the house on a completed pass. like if there is any angle at all and you can tell immediately....its house. no diving trip or stumbles

It’s gotten slightly better since the patch, I’ve had more guys take good angles and have noticed cpu make way more plays on me than before.

Blocked an extra point, Dline picked it up and scored but around the 15 he started to run out of gas and he barely made it to the end zone.

I want to love this game, but it’s really hard to. Simulation is a huge part of dynasty’s and it feels like a coin flip if you don’t go into the game, no matter the mismatch. And god forbid if you do go in and only want to play offense. You better be scoring 40+ even against southern or you will lose

My god I need to get better at passing. I've only played Road to CFP so far, and I just threw 6 picks in a game as Fresno State. The guy had 3 user picks, and was a really good defender, but my god can you get punished in this game for slight timing errors or throwing it at the slightly wrong trajectory.
Having fun, though, even though I'm 2-6 online so far.

if nothing else this game shows how hard it will be to win a national title in real life. im gonna have to beat georgia a third time to win the 2025 CFP with alabama LOL

Who has experience with the coaching carousel?
Are your best offers always available week 1? Or does waiting sometimes work out for the better?
Won coach of the year back to back with Coastal Carolina and players had tons of accolades (heismans/players of the year etc) but I didn’t get the offers I was looking for. Seems as if the offers look down on the sun belt conference lol
Is my best option to pick one of the offers available week 1? Or wait it out and risk getting stuck at CC? Wouldn’t mind another season, but not being able to modify the schedule to add ranked opponents (and no rivals) is impacting my coaches ability to level up quicker.

Yea the passing really punishes you if you make a mistake. Also it doesn’t help that your oline struggles to block even in slides so you have to identify D pre snap and know what you want to do.
I started using motion and if you work short to long on reads it helps.
Like I’ll look in the flats, if covered move to a guy on a drag or in route, if line backers are hovering look deep.
