Looking for something mindless to play on PS. Feel like taking a break from RPGs.

Any thoughts?

Not looking for MP.

Takes too much practice.

Dredge was way more fun than I thought it would be.

Not really as long as you are playing with a controller.

Dead Island 2.

You're cutting up mindless zombies in los angeles. If you have an uncharitable view of CA, it doubles as virtual tourism.

If you like early 2000's shooters like FEAR there is a cool indie called Trepang 2 that an homage to those days. Pretty mindless but intense.

Maneater is also pretty mindless and fun.

Anno 1800 is great at sucking your life away with mindless adjustments.

YMMV, but I find Sky Force Anniversary Edition a lot of fun.

It is a vertical shooter with mild RPG elements, as you upgrade your ship permanently and you run through boards multiple times trying to kill 70% of enemies, 100% of enemies, have a no damage run, and/or rescue 100% of downed pilots at each difficulty level.

Once you achieve all four of those goals, your score multiplier goes up and you can try it on a harder level.

The controls took me a while to get use to as there is no left trigger ADS but once you get into the rhythm, its a fun but intense old school run n gun. No where near as good as the new Doom games, but I assume you've played those.

Stardew Valley.

Once it clicks you are fricked.

I am definitely not a farm simulator type. Just give it a shot. The more you start to figure out the more you realize just how much actual give a shite went into the game.

Also I picked up No Man Sky for the first time since launch. Wow talk about a redemption. If you set it to relaxed difficulty it is extremely laid back and fun.

I started playing this yesterday because it was a rainy day and I couldn't get my yardwork done and 8 hours later I didn't realize 8 hours had gone by. I've really enjoyed it so far.

People think I'm crazy when I tell them how addictive this game is. It's mindless driving up and down fields with different tools but I love it.
