This. I suck so bad, but I keep buying them.

I mainly just play campaign, but whenever I go online I’m quickly reminded just how much I suck, and it trolls me so hard that I’m probably getting owned by a 13 year old that hasn’t even seen titties yet.

The older you get, the less you play, the more you play vs people who play all day.

I’ve always been pretty bad at them. I was only ever even average at Halo 2 and Goldeneye because I knew all the spawn spots, weapons caches, and was a shameless screen watcher. Most modern first person shooters are just so chaotic that I am usually dead within seconds of spawning before even learning rudimentary controls.

I watched Brokeception. You were okay then.

Same boat. I was only ever REALLY good at one game, old Return to Castle Wolfenstein. It didn't matter what class I played, I dominated. I excelled at sniping though. But my friends from jr. high and high school and I all played all the time, had LAN parties where we'd play RTCW and only RTCW. They'd ban me from playing sniper because it was insta-win for my team.

Otherwise I have only ever been good at MMOs. An old game, Conquer Online, I was moderately well-known for my pvp skills, and I made videos so I occasionally had people from other servers hit me up for duels and to watch duels.

WoW I always play Pally and always tanked or healed and people loved having me around, pvp or pve, so I figure I was pretty good there too. At least proficient.



These days I just don't game enough to be very good. So mostly stick to single player.

Just a sad fact that as we get older, we get progressively worse at video games.

I really wish I had grown up in this era of gaming.

35 now and grew up when N64 Goldeneye split screen was all the rage.

Yea we probably have, I'm actually just under masters on my healer now so one game you can get a team of low diamonds/plats and the next game full of top 500's and GMs. That's crazy you hit GM and top 500, I hit top 500 in open queue (and I am going for it again this season) but never in role queue and never GM.
